Well, why not ?

Parcells Draft Farrior earlier in his career, and James Farrior is a perfect 3-4 LB Type. He is an Unrestricted Free Agent

Thought ?

well the guy is 34 he would only be a stop gap, bart scott would be a better option

Why bring up someone who is not a free agent. James Farrior is under contract with the Steelers until 2012.

man love for karlos dansby, thats who i would like to see at miami.

I like Farrior, he doesnt get the recognition he deserves in Pitts. But I would have to agree with Geforce, he is under contract to the best of my knowledge and a bit too long in the tooth.

I guess some people don't realize he was given a contract last season LOL. I don't think Bart Scott would be a good option as well. Most likely the Texans will sign the guy, in Miami's scheme I don't think he will be a good MIKE.

Did they re-sign him during the season?

Because I remember reading he was out of contract this season.

why would we get rid of a pretty good mlb who is only 25 for a linebacker who is 34 and is pretty much on the downside of his career, if anyhing I would rather re-sign crowder, or ideally go after bart scott who i think is turning in2 the hardest hitter in the leauge, or maybe even ray lewis who is only 32 and has expressed interest in finishing his career in Miami, I'd take em for 2-3 years but that's it, some people need to think before they post...

Downside of his career? That might be true but if it is, I don't think the Steelers would have resigned him to a five year contract. Pittsburgh has a history of getting rid of players on the downside of their careers and finding someone just as capable to replace them. Farrior had 133 tackles and 3.5 sacks this year but his other numbers are equal to Crowder's so...
