Please don't perceive my post as an indication that I'm giving up on the season, but I'm not upset with the injuries to Misi or Jenkins. I think this is a good opportunity to see how far our young LB have progressed from their rookie seasons. Hewitt will get the start at WLB and even with Butler probably starting at SLB, Hull will likely get some run too. We need to see what these guys can do before heading into next offseason.

It cant get any worse out there honestly. Misi has been a shell of himself this year and Jelani has been very poor. No where to go but up when you are the 31st ranked vs the run.

I really wish our guys would play their assignments and force teams to beat them physically. This is a very mistake prone league, you'll win a lot of games if your not the ones making the mistakes.

What a surprise that Misi and Jenkins are hurt. They both suck anyway as does most of the defense so why not see what others can do?

Its nice to believe you have a gem on your bench, but mostly you'll realize that players coming off the bench are there for a reason.

If our starters played that bad imagine how bad these guys could be.

I like Hewitt but Butler made mistakes last week. Not sure Butler is very good. He was a pickup after week 1 for a reason

I think I'd rather Burgess got a shot. Is he still on the PS?

what you call an opportunity I call a train wreck...If kiko doesn't suit up we are so screwed

Most of us on this board have been hoping that our FO would draft a couple of LB's that can actually make plays for a few years now but instead the FO has drafted oline with high picks and have totally ignore the position. Well, you reap what you sow and we're paying the price for it. I love Suh but spending so much money on one guy has not and will not a defense make. We have so many holes on defense it's not even funny. Last time we had a guy that knew how to draft was JJ who drafted us a top 5 defense. NOBODY since then has drafted well for us. NOBODY

No Burgess is not.

I keep forgetting questionable doesn't have the same meaning anymore since they got rid of the probable...just got to hope kiko plays cause he's critical

if we can run with kiko and Hewitt in the nickel we might be ok...in base butler plays but I would think cinci would want to get us in nickel and attack that way with eifert out

You'd think that they need neurosurgeons or rocket scientists playing each position on offense and Defense. I know Tannehill was getting his MD degree, maybe that's why he's the only one getting it.

I like Hewitt. The rest are pretty poor

Butler played well enough in SD to get that monster contract at some point. Perhaps he can make a "comeback" to form? I like Misi as a solid player but he's always dinged up.
