If the Phins get Peterson or Arington who does NOT get to start, Crowder or Hodge?

Haha, that's a no brainer. Hodge is a roster filler, Crowder is a potential great LB.

Well if Arrington or Peterson did come in, who would you start on the other side, Crowder or Spragan?

I can't believe that this is even a question....how can Crowder not start?

Ozzy rules!!

Don't you guys think that if we're playing 3 down linemen Taylor will be lining up at OLB?

Looks good.....
We have GOT to get rid of Moore though.
The guy has done absolutly NOTHING for this team except
take up cap space.
And after all those surgeries, I doubt he has anything left...

In a 4-3 seyying, your starting linbeackers will be:

Crowder
Thomas
Peterson/Arrington

In a 3-4 setting your starting corps will be:
Crowder
Thomas
Arrington/Peterson
Taylor

Remember, when we shift to the 3-4, Taylor becomes a rushing linebacker essentially, same with David Bowens when he spells JT

Peterson is better suited on the outside though so for that reason, it seems to me that Arrington may be a better fit for our scheme (i.e. switching formations, going form inside to out etc.)

Just my opinion though

Spragan and Hodge are merely backups if we land one of those two linebackers. That isn't a bad thing. Both have tons of experience starting and can contribute along with Pope in a pinch.

There is no way Crowder does not start though. Unless he somehow forgets that he is a linebacker and how to play the game, he has star written all over him.
