Leadership where r u

Leadership is doing the right thing. At least this moron did not kill anyone.

To be fair Martin might be mentally messed up. Ray Lewis would not even be able to keep a person suffering from bi-polarism from snapping.

Leadership is so misunderstod in the NFL and other areas of life. Some people are perceived as being better leaders because they run thier mouth. Lewis was a leader on the field who lad by example on the field but he his leadership is way overblown because he always had somethig to say.
The key to leadership is saying the right thing at the right time and thats not only when the cameras are rolling. Philbin obviously didnt want any vocal players on the team

Our leaders need to be wake on D, along with soliai, and nobody on offense. Because nobody that isn't hurt has been worthy this season, all things considered, *cough* Pouncey

Leadership needs to rally the troops.

"Either we heal as a team.."

Unfortunately, I don't think Philbin could do a speech like that without his index cards.

As others said. Bush, Dansby gone. Every team needs those heart players.

We would expect Wake or Jones, THill to step up and take the lead. But they just might not be that type of character. Can't force heart and leadership into a player. Born with that.

Last season those who stepped up in leadership roles got shipped out. Its no surprise that no one is asserting themselves as a leader for fear of being gone.

Great point. That is on Joe.

Where is that Hitler spoof video when we need it?

up your butt and around the corner?

sorry, I just felt like being a childish idiot. This board is wearing on me.

/Martin... out

This Team is Wearing on me for 10+ Years, and this Year is over too. The Team is currently in Shambles, and we are playing a Team tonight. It's over, hopefully for
Philbin and Ireland too, they are both worthless, oh and Sherman too. We have some Talent on this team, other then some guys that went AWOL, but it needs Direction.
Oh, and "Small Hands" Tannehill better stop turning the Ball over. Maybe he run for a First Down (like Tom Brady) did last week and show the Team he is trying. Dude is no Captain. I like the new Uniforms!

I'd personally like to see Tannehill step up and be a more vocal leader. I want to see him firing up his offensive on the sidelines and start developing that killer instinct. The kid needs to step it up. The door is open for him to now change perception on him as a top NFL QB. If you can't lead as a QB, you wont last long in this league. Now is his time to step up.

Unfortunately, Tannehill's too entwined with the quagmire that is Philbin/Philbin's friend/Philbin's friend's son-in-law to buck the trend and stand up and be a vocal leader, especially ins his second year. Plus, I just don't see him as that kind of guy.

I've been acquainted with Cam Wake since he was Derek Wake playing at Penn State. He's a guy that could carry a lot of cache coming back from a major knee injury, then going to the Canadian League and making himself a Pro Bowler. From what I know of him, he's a guy that could fill the vocal leader role quite well. But, as is mentioned above, when you see guys who filled that role get jettisoned, it's probably enough to make anyone think twice about speaking up.

Cam Wake, Brian Hartline, Brent Grimes, Ryan Tannehill.
