Again…why is Ken Dorsey leaving Allen and Buffalo OC spot to come to Miami? What reasonable person would do that?
How badly would Ross have to overpay him to do that?

I have slight preference for McDaniel over Daboll, but either of those two guys has been my stated preference all along. And really, between the two I wanted the guy who could bring the better overall staff. No idea who would be on McDaniel's staff, but I'd happy with that rumor coming true.

Who knows maybe Dorsey doesn't like Buffalo that much and decides to come with Daboll.

For starters, getting out of Buffalo is reason enough for anyone. Plus, Dorsey played at U of Miami and maybe he really likes South Florida.
And if Ross wants to make him the highest paid OC in the league he easily can.
What Miami has for Dorsey that Buffalo doesn’t is a chance to be the one to “fix” the QB. Buffalo doesn’t have a QB that needs to be “fixed” and their offense is already top shelf. All that is attributed to Daboll, so this would be Dorsey’s chance to have that same impact for another team which would really propel him into Head coach talks quickly. That’s the only reason I see him coming to Miami or New York with Daboll.
Also, Dorsey did play for the Canes and might have an affinity for Miami.
I'm sure there are plenty of coaches and Dolphin players that have been jackasses. Payton would easily give us the best chance of putting together a playoff team.
