League Sources: Daboll Favorite For Dolphins Job

i'm not ok with this or the process they are taking... finding the best coach that will help Tua... what about the best coach for the Miami Dolphins?? we need a coach that will make the Dolphins great again. they F'd up on the Tua pick if he doesn't improve. enough of the excuses already.

Trying something different for the sake of trying something different is not progress or a considered solution. There are a million factors in success and failure. People coming here and acting like this was the reason or that changing that one factor in any way changes the likelihood of success is an example of someone not understanding how much they don't know yet still complaining as if this is a solution. In the end it's just complaining and negativity. And yes, I find the constant, ignorant negativity the worst part of coming to a message board.
You have high expectations for your message boards. Good to see that you can spot ignorance, though.

Bottom line, I prefer to view evidence of past performance. Pederson, Harbaugh, Quinn…we can see what they’ve done when tasked with being a head coach. We can see the quality of assistants they surrounded themselves with and delegated to. We can examine how young players progressed. On and on.

Or we can pretend that we know that Daboll will be better than McDaniel or Leftwich or Moore based on zero evidence.

Hey R, since '02, much respect.

Here is a quote and a Pic that fits in with what you said, and applies to MANY Fans everywhere.

"You Don't Even Know What You Don't Know, So How Can You Know Anything?"

Agreed, and no doubt Daboll deserves some credit for that, but it's not like there are any real similarities between Allen and Tua. They are very different QBs with very different skill sets. I'm not sure how well Daboll's Allen experience translates to a QB like Tua. Also, I think Daboll probably has less to do with Allen's success than the Bills QB coach. I'm not saying he can't be a solid head coach, just saying that I don't think the hype may be as warranted as some believe.
Much better, considering with Tua he gets a QB that has better anticipation, more accurate, better feeling for a passruch, and a quicker release.

Does he have Allen's cannon to to get ball quicker to receiver?...No, but Tua anticipation and Quick Release could allow him to get rid of the ball quicker then Allen.

Does he have the big arm to throw it 50 yards with little effort?...No, but he can throw deep with less chance of turnover.

Can Tua run as fast as Allen?...No, but he seems to have better agility to fake D-Player out of their boots better then Allen.

Tua with the right coaching could be a good to great field general, guiding the offense to scores just as easily as Allen, just in different ways.
