LeBatard loves Ricky

Are you surprised how much Lebatard loves Ricky? Heck Ricky pretty much put him on the map.
 
Lebatard has always seemed like the guy that wants to report on something more important than sports. It seems like half his articles (I'm guessing b/c I stopped reading them a while ago) mention how unimportant football is. RW was his dream. The player who didn't care about football, but instead focused on a higher purpose. That higher purpose turned out to be selfish, self indulgence, but that's irrelevant in Lebatard's mind. If you haven't guessed I'd be happy if Lebatard quit to go smoke pot.

That doesn't suprise me that he loves Ricky so much. Wasn't he trying to be Ricky's butler at one time? LOL (I'm picturing Adam Sandler's Mr. Deeds and LeBatard saying "Ricky, Don't ever under estimate my sneakiness".

LeBatard needs Ricky to be successful so he can complete his book on Ricky. Last I heard, he was almost done the Ricky Williams story. Yeah.....that sounds like a best-seller.......
