Lee holds the key to Dolphins' QB future?

excellent article!! I hope lee thinks that beck is the answer at QB because i think BECK is gonna be a good one....
 
Boo Matt Ryan, Hooray John Beck!!! Seriously though, John Beck should be the starting quarterback on Opening Day 2008.
 
Is the writer saying that if we draft a QB in the first two rounds that pretty much means Lee doesnt want Beck?

Thats the way I understood it. It makes alot of sense to me also. Lee's trek record is pretty impressive.

Where in my post did it say that Beck should go uncontested for the starting job? Beck should have some competition in Training Camp, and it'll probably be a veteran QB. Maybe Todd Collins, Billy Volek, etc. It's just my humble opinion that Beck will wind up as the starting QB. Get it? Got it? Good.
 
Beck has the tools, thats no secret. He just needs some fine tuning and some experience....and an o-line. I have confidence in him, i think he'll be good for us. This article about Lee was reassuring as well.
 
Parcells loves competition so don't be surprised if he brings in Ryan if we stay at the 1st spot. Then let the best guy run the team when he's ready. If he drafts Ryan it does mean he thinks Ryan will be that guy but that doesn't mean Beck won't beat him out. The thing I love the most about Parcells style is he always plays the best player regardless of how much they make or what round they where drafted. So as fans we get the best of both worlds. The guy you like will get a fair shot at winning the job and only his performance will dictate if he wins it. You can't ask for anything more than that.
