Thats where 90% of this board is on the subject of Jay Feidler. Through some people's eyes Jay can do no wrong. If he throws a pick the WR didn't make a strong enough play on it. If he misses a wide open WR the WR didn't run fast enough.

Then you have the guys that couldn't pay Jay a compliment if he threw for 800 yards, and 6 tds.

There is no middle ground on this subject, but that is exactly there this debate is. Jay is a great competitor, and has improved to a QB that won't lose a game for you. He is also a QB that misses some easy passes, and could not put this team on his back for an extended period of time. We currently don't have a better option. Untill one smacks us upside the head we might as well just pound are heads against the wall because it beets the of haveing this convo every freaking weekend.
 
LMAO. I agree Dajesus. This conversation gets old quick. Hell, its been old for 3 years. Too bad there isn't anything better to talk about right now......
 
That's the problem with most fans here...

We all know Jay is not an all pro qb, but yet every year you have people saying how he maybe, just maybe play at a probowl level and he's similar to Gannon.. and On the other hand you have people calling for anybody except Fiedler and of course Lucas to run the offense.

Bottom line is Fiedler is a blue collar qb. He's streaky has flashes of brilliance...but one thing he's does well is win games. No he can not carry the team on his back or throw the deep ball acurately, but he can throw a wicked seem pass, run block, and fight for hard yards when he runs it. I would love to have Brunell here, but it wont happen this year and Griese just wont cut it.

For those of you are so hell bent on his long ball Vinn T. is a deadly accurate passer when it comes to the long ball....How many of you want him..:lol:
