Assuming the Lions will release him June 15th and that he is only wanting to come to Miami. Can a member of the Dolphins (QB coach, Chris Chambers, Marty Booker...) share with him the playbook? Can they play catch? and if so can they run routes for him. Can they share with him game films and some basic terminology?

Thanks

He can play catch with the receivers as long as it is not on Lions or Dolphins property. I doubt Saban would give a playbook to someone who wasn't signed.

As I understand the rules from previous "tampering" case questions; players can talk, mingle, converse, share, etc. as long as they are not acting under a coach's direction and they are not on team grounds. The only limits there would be whatever contract specific language exists about working out beyond control of coaches and trainers. Some teams put it some language after Edwards got injured a few years back baring even non-contact playing where they could get hurt. Guys who play pick-up basketball or play in charity games have been caught on this clause. But it is generally specific to an individual player or team.

In short he can stay in shape and visit with some Phins but better keep it low key. I would think he could get film on his own and study if he wants.

Unless his contract specifically prohibits it he can go talk to Fins players, do informal practices in a park, xerox the playbook and a while list of other things.

yes and some who have been injured, get put on "reserve: non-football injury" lists and don't get paid. Its all in what each player's contract says.
