Legality of Revis' TD Questioned.

I think you could look at most of darelle revis' coverage and find that it's illegal. for whatever reason he never draws flag. and than nfl countdown and boomer cum down their leg every pregame show talking about how good he is.

It's really not much different than what Marshall got away with during the game. Marshall seems to get away with push offs all the time. Good players get away with stuff that others can't.

It's always fun reading Vaarks posts.....it's like sitting with your Thesaurus in english class trying to find ways to stump the teacher so you can show you're far more versed than they. This would only get better if you revealed that you actually are an english professor or that you consult for Rogets.......

I learned about the word "egregious" in sixth grade.

If you read the whole thing Revis said that Marshall tripped and he touched him trying to keep himself up. To everyone that does not hate the Jets, Marshall clearly tripped.

If this was to contest something that it appeared I said I'm not clear about why.....
The comment you posted about was my reply to someone saying that penalties should be able to be challenged too.

In light of the short time its been since you've joined us, your use of "always" at best represents a limited sampling. Either way a word to the wise: on your next personal attack, strive for less transparent flummery.

Well...it wasn't a personal attack, I was actually being quite sincere that I like reading your posts. It's a nice break from the mindless diarrhea of the mouth that is typically common place here.
There is so much personal attacking going here now this season that you can't say anything without it being taken the wrong way, can't wait for us to start winning so we can breathe again.......

That wasnt even a complicated vaark post. Really only about a 2 on the scale of 1 to "grab a dictionary".

You are 100% correct. This was me not paying close enough attention, my post was not supposed to be about any quote. (I might have been really high).

Nah, there has to be a line where human error is just accepted. If not the games would last 5 hours and get frustrating bc they would be stopping the game every 3 minutes to challenge every call.

I don't want games to last 5 hours either, but allowing teams to challenge potential penalties would not add to the length of the game. Teams would still only get two challenges to challenge whatever plays they like; a third challenge if the first two stand up. It's simply a wider array of plays that those challenges could be used on.

Automatic reviews of scoring plays have increased game times, but coaching challenges remain the same either way...

You can find a penalty on damn near any random play though. You would see teams just hiring people to sit in a booth and review every play, especially game changing ones, just to try find a random hold somewhere to challenge.

It's an absolute non-call. Neither OPI or DPI. RT @itstellertime: @MikePereira what were your thoughts on the revis marshall non call?

Marshall became pregnant an now is expecting a baby due to Rape by Revis 7 yards away from the line of scrimmige..

wow do i hate that guy, but listening to that clip was priceless. mike franscesa is now one of my favorite.

Guys, I'm a very frustrated Phin fan, but no way was that PI. Watch the play -- Marshall initiates the contact by diving into Revis, looked like a bit of a trip on his part, lost his balance and fell/dove into Revis, at which moment Revis makes contact with his arm in order to keep from being pushed over, then he slides Marshall off of him with force [that part MIGHT have been called PI but I doubt it, since Marshall was still moving forward into him]. Played football. Coached it, and I couldn't disagree more w. the people who wanted it to be called PI.

Let's argue more realistic things! Like how in the heck could Parcells, Ireland and Sparano completely ruin a Dolphins franchise...

"See this is why I don't talk to the Jets"

I like how Francesa acts like he has a choice, he wants interviews to help his ratings but the Jets stopped going on his show then gave him another chance this year for some reason. Revis said at the end "this is why nobody wants to get interview by him" the guy is a tool. Even other media members are backing Revis and saying that Francesa brings them all down. The Jets hate Francesa, all he does is bash the Jets. He isn't fair with them at all, even when they do something good he bashes them. He is a ignorant loser.

So not everyone thinks it was a penalty, only reason people are making a big deal is because Gruden was and he seemed like he was favoring the Dolphins all night for whatever reason.
