Leinart picking up where he left off

After looking Omar (i.e, Bowling Green QB) Jacobs, I think Omar looks like better pro player. After watching Matt today against Hawaii, I like Omar alot better. Matt passes are accurate but have no vip and his release is abit slower than I'd like. I stated to think that if he was was at Bowling Green he'd get killed and if Omar was at USC that it simple would not be fair  , Man Omar is a beast  . I know stats don't mean much, but against Wisconsin he was 29 of 51 for 445yds 5tds, 1INT. I mean come on, Bowling Green "sucks" and Omar keep in real closed, Omar simply has no help on his team but Matt is playing on an all star team. Bottom-line Omar could be a future super star IMO , and look real good with da Phins :D

Did you watch Jacobs play? He puts up good numbers, and if you wanna wait a few seasons while his throwing motion is completely retooled, he's your guy, but c'mon Leinart has won like 25 games in a row, won the heisman, but still you're blinded by Jacobs numbers. Jacobs simply has the worst throwing motion in college football, and I don't think it'll work in the pro's, I would rather have Vince Young than Jacobs, but still Leinart is in a category by himself.

Any QB would be killed behind your O-line
Thanks. I think he pretty much made that point already. But your brilliant contribution today is greatly appreciated. :shakeno:

Still don't want him, immature brat.

I think he's the best QB in the draft with no close second, but yea, I'm scared ****less about that aswell. I don't care what kind of college record you're setting, staying behind for ballroom 101 when you can go #1 in the draft isn't exactly comforting. Postponing a pro career for a record that is "just" college I don't like.

maybe he went back to school cause the 49ers would have taken him and he didn't want to play for that sorry team.

Do you even watch college football? He is so over-rated. He will not be a good NFL QB.

Let's not forget that it was Hawaii that USC played...And USC was a 5 TD favorite going into the game.

leinert will be worse than carson palmer which is pretty bad.

Leinart chose to stay in school to do what? Take one class. He was ready to graduate.
His reasons for staying his FIFTH year are weak. If this guy were a true competitor he would be anxious to get to the NFL and compete against the best.
Most players who stay another year are guys who want to finish their degrees or play another year to improve their stock. Leinart doesn't fall into either category.
If he wants to enjoy the no pressure college life, that is fine if he has no high aspirations, but for someone who's going to be a franchise type draft pick it's a little unsettling.

Maybe he thought they would have a great chance to win another Championship....Maybe he wants to win the Heismann....Or maybe he wanted to have one more year to enjoy being the King on campus with all that super fine Southern California 1st class booty swarming around him!...I think those are some pretty good reasons to stay myself.

If you think Carson Palmer is "pretty bad", You're wrong....He will prove it this year.
