How about Lemon as trade bait for a decent linebacker? ucould even throw in Moore. I like Lemon but how good of #3 qb do u really need they are on the sidelines most of the time anyway; plus we have Holland and Berlin.

what a question? that 3rd stringer can come on by the end of the
first game. [see the ny jets].

nothing wrong with having solid qb play all down the line. it is
probably the most important position to have quality depth at!

AND WHO SAYS CLEO IS A 3RD STRINGER? he is a young buck
and has not had a real shot yet. the little he has been out, he
supposedly looked REAL GOOD and threw NO pics.

y'all believe in this joey harrington non sense way to much!

I agree; plus if Harrington does end up starting due to Culpepper not being ready, our 3rd string QB will temporarily be our 2nd string QB. So I think for now our 3rd string QB is awfully important.

Absolutely right, but at this point what's more important, a starting OLB or a 3rd string QB prospect? I have no idea what, if anything, Lemons can fetch on the market, but if he can help bring STARTING talent to the team then make the move. :cap:

don't forget, we also have Justin Holland

That's true and how many of us want an undrafted free agent rookie QB, one injury away from a five plus game stretch as starting QB

Lemon may be no better than Holland, Holland may turn out to be a good QB, Berlin might even find himself, but I want my #2, and until Culpepper is fully recovered Lemon is #2, to be a guy who has had some serious time within our system. While Lemon did not get any of our camp last year at least he was here and knows the terminology and players. Again until Culepper is fully returned, I want to keep Lemon around. If Holland is that good, let him beat Lemon in camp. With only Lemon, Holland, and Harrington throwing full out in the mini-camps, everyone should get the reps to show what they can do.

Cleo Lemon was an Undrafted Rookie free Agent in case you did not know that.

true, but Lemon has been here for a year and knows our offense and he's 27 years old I think not 22 like Holland so he is a little less raw and certain to be more mature and game ready!

Thank you, that was my point.

I think Lemon or Holland will be good trade bait in the future but no this off season

Dude, we aren't going to trade away depth at QB now that we have it. Besides that, Cleo isn't going to garner any appreciable value unless he shows up big during the preseason and displays #2 QB ability.
