I like this trade. We free up cap room for next year. We also get a spark plug for a backup in Lemon. I watched some highlights of his from pre season, and the kid is quite mobile with a great arm. He doesnt have the accuracy you want in a starter, but I see him as kind of a Doug Flutie type. If one of our QB's goes down, Lemon comes in and is completely different. You cant game plan for him. He's a great change up to Gus once he learns the offense. And, if we get lucky..maybe he pans out to be even more. Also, admit it, it the guys name werent Cleo Lemon, we'd all be just a little bit more excited. Its kind hard to get amped, when you can make fun of bith his first and last names.

i know this is stupid but with a last name like lemon i'm scared. i think i would have been happier cutting feeley loose all together and picking up a davey or berlin. i mean why give up another pick?

Who knows? maybe the front office see potential in the kid. i trust them, more than i trusted wanny & rick.

I hear ya! We should have kept Berlin at third and traded Feeley to the Bears when they lost Grossman in the preseason. They would have given us a good pick for him then, because they were desperate at the time.

Who knows though, maybe Lemon won't be a ...Lemon.

I admit he is no spark plug and he is no doug Flutie. To think he is anything besides insurance is laughable.
