What did that boy have?

A fumble recovery, a beastly 1st down run on a fake punt and like two or three catches?

How did this **** fly under the main board radar?

Well, I'm happy as **** for him. All the bullshit he took from everyone here.

Now there's a silver lining for all the doom and gloomers and it's serving you crow.

Well then, why the hell hasn't this coaching staff had him in the games before now?
Did this just happen all of a sudden? Did someone just "turn the switch"?
I also want to see Isiah Ford get on the field this season.

I mean I cannot fathom why a big possession receiver with strong hands and sneaky speed can’t have a role on the team when your pass catching group consists of all undersized dudes and a injury prone big man.

Seems like a guy you want in there to make a tough catch to move the sticks instead of expecting a small guy to make some one miss short of the line to get a first down.

I dunno

He looks like you would need a calendar to time his 40...he cost WAAAYY too much to get drafted...BUT he played harder than most anyone on offense not named Frank Gore. He should be a member of the ST unit...at least.

Kid can ball…he must not be a favorite of Gase.

Throw the kid screen pass like Gase throws to everyone else. He'll be tough guy to bring down.

I think they just want to get rid of the kid…I am sure he also had some maturing to do as well…but I think he won't be around next year.

Colts or Raiders should pick him up.

I also recall Richard Sherman complimenting Carroo about how well he competed in their game.

We're about to find out!!! With the recovery time for Grant still unknown, Carroo is about to get his shot, without others being ahead of him. I just hope he continues to make enough plays. Last man standing kind if scenario for Carroo. Hope he learned his lesson on that botched fake punt he didn't cover.

You know what, I’m a HS lacrosse coach and I’m also a parent of a player. So I attend off-season tournaments, indoor box lax leagues, etc.

I get to talk to parents constantly because of my dual role. I always get questions like “how come Johnny doesn’t play varsity?” Or “why doesn’t Johnny play in the games more?” “Why don’t we play more middie lines?”

It’s not always about their own kids. But the answer is always the same:

These kids get plenty of chances in practice to prove themselves. If they are getting beaten consistently on O or D by other players, they aren’t trusted. Then when they go in the games and we see the same issues we see in practice it reinforces it.

So yeah... carroo had a good game (finally). But let’s not act like that is the norm. He sucked during pre season open practices. He sucked in preseason games. This whole board wanted him cut and wanted everyone associated with drafting him fired.

But now we get a serious outlier of a performance and it’s that the coaches can’t recognize talent? Please. He got beat out by Mighty Mouse.

I hope the kid had an epiphany and lives up to his draft status. But just like BO and RT, past performance usually is indicative of future performance at this point in their careers.

So glad we gave up a 3rd (Kareem Hunt), 4th and 6th to get a stand-out special teams player for one game (in year 3). 1 catch for 20 yards in 2018. Nobody hungry enough to eat crow yet.

On two occasions yesterday, the announcer called him the backup TE. LOL

I mean nobody has to eat crow on him . . . I don’t blame him for what we gave up to get him.

Would like to see him get more opportunity if at all possible.
