I've seen a lot of talk about us getting guys like Everette Brown, Brian Orakpo, Rashad Johnson, ect. But these are all guys we already knew. Here are some guys that are 2nd/3rd round prospects that I have not seen mentioned as potential picks here (some courtesy of NFLDC)

Larry English OLB/DE, NIU-One of the more prolific pass rushers in the NCAA. English had over 56 TFLs and 32 sacks in his career. At 6'3 255 he has the size to play OLB in our 3-4

Louis Delmas S, Western Michigan- For the first time since 2006 when Greg Jennings and Tony Scheffler graduated, the Broncos have a legit NFL Prospect. After being considered a nice mid round pick, Delmas took his game to another level. In fact, one can argue that the only senior safety that had a better season than him was Rashad Johnson. Delmas is only 5'11, but he's one of the best safeties coming out in what many consider a very deep safety draft.

Max Unger OL, Oregon-Listed as a C, but can play OG and OT very easily. With Satale's future at C in question, Unger might be worth a look (though sime feel he'll sneak into round 1)

Terrence Taylor DT, Michigan-Compact and strong; Taylor has the idea size to become a 3-4 NT

Macho Harris CB, VTech-Has lost a lot of luster from last year, but is a very physical CB.

Troy Kropog OT, Tulsa- A highly athletic OT that could add much needed depth to the OL or step in at RT if Carey is not resigned.

Jonathan Luigs C, Arkansas-Same boat as Unger, but is a pure C.

Cody Brown OLB/DE Connecticut-Not as impressive as English, but is a very good prospect.

Josh Boone OT, Ohio State-Never developed into an elite LT prospect, but is a solid RT prospect if a RT is needed.

Mike Mickens CB, CIncy-Bigger CB that is physical, solid CB.

Patrick Chung S, Oregon-Chung is actually right up there with Johnson and Moore as top S. Lost a lot of hype after a great junior year

Marcus Freeman LB, Ohio State- Did not take the next step to elite player as a senior, but is highly athletic, and there are some who feel he could make a bigger impact than his college teammate and best friend, Little Animal.

there are more out there, but these are some of the top guys that come to mind right now that do not get the talk they deserve on this forum

i like chung a lot. hes a serious gamer

If we could get Macho Harris in the 2nd round it would be a steal. He is a real physical DB and he can cover pretty good .

and hes smart. did you see the play in todays game? tipped the ball up to himself to get an INT but he missed it. Great play and SMARTS

I would love to draft Larry Enligsh in the second round to replace Joey Porter in the future.

i like victor harris and the kropoc kid in round #2... both would fill needs... if it wasn't for porter there wouldn't be a pass rush... so i'm betting a pass rusher is on the agenda in round #1.... marcus freeman is very under-rated...he has alot of tools to be a very solid pro!!! i'm not saying freeman is round 1 material... just stating he's under the radar and imo he'd be a steal in round 2... i didn't see a WR on that list... i think louis murphy would fit in nicely late round 2 or round 3...

Marcus Freeman reminds me of a poor man's Lance Briggs and he will be a solid pro.

FL WR scare me all are busts for some reason or majority at least.

and u can bet pass rush is number 1 on our list. U will see 3 new lbs and prob 2 more new D linemen

Only one word describes Larry English: DAMN!

Louis Delmas S, Western Michigan- For the first time since 2006 when Greg Jennings and Tony Scheffler graduated, the Broncos have a legit NFL Prospect. I don't know much about him, I'll have to do some research on him.

Max Unger OL, Oregon-Listed as a C, but can play OG and OT very easily. With Satale's future at C in question, Unger might be worth a look (though sime feel he'll sneak into round 1)

Unger is a good one, definately isn't getting a lot of pub this year with Oregon being down from last year.

Terrence Taylor DT, Michigan-Compact and strong; Taylor has the idea size to become a 3-4 NT

I wish that he was just a little bit taller, but nonetheless he's still effective.

Macho Harris CB, VTech-Has lost a lot of luster from last year, but is a very physical CB.

OOOH YEAH!!! Very physical, great instincts, the only thing he doesn't do is a "Flying Elbow Drop" from the top rope.

Troy Kropog OT, Tulsa- A highly athletic OT that could add much needed depth to the OL or step in at RT if Carey is not resigned.

I'll have to look him up as well. Don't know much about him.

Jonathan Luigs C, Arkansas-Same boat as Unger, but is a pure C.

This is a guy that I want in a Dolphins uniform. Bigtime fan of Jonathan Luigs.

Cody Brown OLB/DE Connecticut-Not as impressive as English, but is a very good prospect.

Got to watch him yesterday in the Pitt/UConn game. I liked what I saw. UConn was pretty much on defense all day yesterday.

Alex Boone OT, Ohio State-Never developed into an elite LT prospect, but is a solid RT prospect if a RT is needed.

Alex would make a good RT in the NFL.

Mike Mickens CB, CIncy-Bigger CB that is physical, solid CB.

Mickens would be a good pick.

Patrick Chung S, Oregon-Chung is actually right up there with Johnson and Moore as top S. Lost a lot of hype after a great junior year

Chung can play some ball.

Marcus Freeman LB, Ohio State- Did not take the next step to elite player as a senior, but is highly athletic, and there are some who feel he could make a bigger impact than his college teammate and best friend, Little Animal.

Freeman will probably have a better career than Laurinaitis.

:sidelol:...the Macho Man Victor Harris...i'm not laughing at him or even the possibility of us selecting him...just the Macho Man Randy Savage reference...

You must not watch very much VT football. Not only is he Tech's best defensive player (by far), he is also one of our better offensive players when you consider how much points he puts up on the board after his defensive turnovers and how much he helps in field position. Last year I thought that his numbers might have been a little bit inflated since nobody wanted to throw towards Brandon Flowers, but Macho has been even better than Flowers was for us last year. He completely deserves to be a first round pick, and I would be willing to bet that a lot of teams will regret having passed on him if he doesn't go that high.

I have been watching a guy named Connor Barwin, who plays for the Cincinatti Bearcats. He started out mainly as a basketball player and then a Tight End, but he was moved to Defensive End about a year ago, and he just really impresses me. He reminds me alot of another DE from Ohio (Jason Taylor, Akron). He just seems to explode from the snap and gets around LT's and other lineman trying to stop him. What I like about him, is I think he can also play offense from time to time and be a good TE. Here is a nice summary about Barwin. He looks like a slightly smaller but faster Matt Roth with the same kind of motor. I think we should use or 2nd second round pick on this guy, if we are looking for a nice DE:
