Let it be is what ricky told his agent when confronted with the positive test results. While ricky RE established himslef this past year and I really hope that he gets cleared quickly and back on track. I have a bad gut feeling that Ricky will win his appeal, but may get fustrated over the ordeal again and take off on the NFL. Hope not, but that kind of response seems to leave open the possibility.

Reading the comments from the negative B-Plugs on here and in the media here in SFLA does not help either. Fortunately I beleive Ricky is very mature and will handle this with class and profesionalism. Hopefully Ronnie will absorb all he can from Ricky and take to the next level ( I am not holding my breath on that one though)

I hope the best RB on our team is cleared and not traded, we can not go as far as we did last year on Ronnie Brown Alone

I think Ronnie would do fine on his own, but I would be very happy to see both those guys in the backfield for at least one more season.

Ricky was probably just frustrated. Happens to everyone. Especially with his dislike for the NFL in general anyway. In his mind, he probably thought, "what the hell is the use...forget it..." I think we've all felt that way before. I wouldn't read too much into it. I think Ricky really enjoyed himself last year. He seemed to be when he was running the ball and when he'd run into the endzone. I think the fact that the pressure wasn't set squarely on his back made him feel more free. With what happened with the drug test thing, it probably just brought on a dreadful feeling. I can sympathize for him and how frustrating it must have felt.

On with the future.Thats Ronnie Brown.Hes going to do just fine without ricky.Hes a future probowl rb.

I agree with SCall13, I believe that RW is just frustraded. I do have a positive feeling about the situation in general and we will see Ricky back.

I totally agree with you in reference to the future, but we need the present to win now...and the present is RW.

No one wants to bet badgered everyday. Even the highest of paying jobs become not worth while in the wrong setting. One thing you can be sure about Ricky is; he knows life is short and you should strive to enjoy it. There is life beyond the NFL and there is life beyond the mighty dollar and an employeer that drug tests you twice per week. When this guy gets his debts in order...he is gone, if the hassles are still there.
