Draft:
1st: Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
People say he might not be around but I think he very well may be. I think that behind Joe Thomas and Calvin johnson he is the best in the draft and is exactly what the doctor ordered here in Miami. Other possibilities: Alan Branch DT Michigan. Laron Landry S LSU

2nd: Marcus McCauley CB Fresno State

Lack of activity in the Senior Bowl makes him slide but he is still one of the best corners in the draft. The Dolphins get a first round talent in the 2nd Round here!

3rd: Earl Everett LB Florida

Some may think he won't slide this far but there are a lot of LB's rated ahead of him...Brandon Siler Florida, HB Blades Pittsburgh, Jon Beason Miami,Buster Davis FSU, Paul Poluszny PSU, Rufus Alexander Oklahoma , Patrick Willis LB Ol miss, Lawernce Timmons LB FSU; Everett falls due to the access of talent at this position in the draft.

4th: Michael Johnson S Arizona

Steal here.

6th: Dan Mozes C West Virginia

Another steal.

7th: Adam Poodlesh P Maryland

Free Agency:

-Resign Darian Barnes FB
-Resign S Yeremiah Bell
-Restructure DE Kevin Carter

Release:
Dan Wilkinson DT(2.1M), Joey Harrington(3.5 M) Seth McKinney(4M) Jeno james(4 Million) Bennie Anderson (2.1)

Hmm okay then let me see.

Draft:

1st: Levi Brown: LT
2nd: Ryan Kalil: C
3rd: Kevin Kolb: QB
4th: David Ball: WR
6th: CB or OLB
7th: OLB or CB

Free Agency:
Sign:Adalius Thomas
Resign: Y. Bell
Resign: Holliday
Restructure: Daunte (Pack his deal with incentives but low base salary)

Release: Harrington, Bennie Anderson, Mckinney.

Thats just off the top of my head, not sure how realistic it is.

A Punter in the 7th Round because Donnie Jones is a Restricted Free gent and could demand too much money so why not sdraft the best punter in the draft?

And Levi brown at 9? You would want to waste a Top 10 pick to draft Levi Brown? According to My big Board Levi Brown falls to #20.

1) Calvin Johnson
2) Joe Thomas
3) Brady Quinn
4) Alan branch
5) Gaines Adams
6) Jamarcus Russell
7) Adrian peterson
8) Jamaal Anderson
9) Laron Landry
10) Reggie Nelson
11) Ted Ginn Jr.
12) Patrick Willis
13) Amobi Okoye
14( Dwayne Jarrett
15) Leon Hall
16) Darrelle Reavis
17) Lawrence Timmons
18) Paul poluszny
19) Dwayne Bowe
20) Levi Brown

1st: Levi Brown: LT

i would love that draft in the first four rounds, except imo id exchange kevin kolb in the third round for a linebacker.. earl everett would be great!

If you can guarantee we get those people in those spots and do all the f/a transaction stuff and stay under the salary cap, you got my vote for GM!

That would be why your not an NFL scout.

The fact that you actually have Ginn as a better player than Jarrett should raise enough red flags about your ability to access talent. Your big board apparently has no actual meaning as to where guys will go anyway, seeing as Reavis is a second rounder at best, same with Posluszny.

Levi is a top 15 pick, and with a huge need on the o-line he isnt a stretch at #9

I don't think that list is THAT far off, other than Timmons and Posluszny. They are not top 20 talent. I definitely see Revis in the 1st, especially with Hall falling. Revis could be the 1st CB off the board. Jarrett needs a very good time at the combine to go before Ginn. I agree Levi is definitely a top 15 pick.

Scouting is as much a profession based on opinion as any other and Jarrett has as many question marks about him as Ginn, Jr does. YOU said Revis is a 2nd rounder at best while others think he'll be a Top 15 pick.

why a punter in the 7th when we have Donnie Jones?

Don't worry, theres no way Podlesh is there in the 7th anyway...

Otherwise I agree with most every move he had us making with the exception of Lance Briggs. Outside linebacker is one of the least important positions on defense and Briggs will demand a monster paycheck (and I've heard he wants to stay in Chicago anyway). That money could be spent elsewhere on more pressing needs. Asante Samuel will want a lot of cash, but I wouldn't mind giving it to him.

The Cap Room would be fine, We are currently 17 Million under. Releasing Harrington, Bennie Anderson, jeno James, Seth McKinney and Dan Wilkinson frees another 16 million. Restructuring Kevin Carter could free another 2 million. We are fine with cap room.

Poodlesh could be there in the 7th round; We got Rod Wright in the 7th last year. he was a projected 1st Round talent

if Brady Quinn falls to us and Marcus Mcaualey that would be awesome i think Marcus just had a bad year and with some work he will be a good nfl corner cause he has the speed and the atheleticsm.

i like it... but you never know quinn could slip to us, but in that kind of situation i would trade down, because someone would overpay in picks/ players for quinn , but i like the mock overall, except why punter in 7th? we have donnie jones
