Let me get this straight

I remember getting blasted for suggesting (albeit, quite a while back) that we needed a coach that is a great motivator, one that gives that uplifting halftime speech that makes the team hungry to play better, hungry to win. The response I got was something to the effect that this type of coaching only works in high school. I stand by my thought that this is the type of coach the Dolphins needs to have.
well whoever said that certainly has no clue what their talking about. anyone at any age can be motivated via a speech. it works at all levels, high school, college, and the pros. unfortunately we do not have a hhead coach that is an effective motivator. the team finds his motivational tactics comedic

Where is all the Dan Henning bashers? This offense looks every bit as bad, if not worse !!!

Ryan Shmyan

Meanwhile, unlike supposedly some unflappable QBs who melt during post seasons, the magnificent Aaron Rodgers, who averaged 38pts in prior years losing PO game efforts before winning the whole enchilada, put on yet another clinic yesterday while a certain former part time SEC RB rushes for a combined 31 seasonal yards while continuing to fade into oblivion. FU NS.

This I can agree with. Over the years of this regime I've felt like all we've really needed was the elite QB and we'd start to see results on the field. But it's painfully clear that we're outcoached every single game. I hate using the word "bust" but I wonder if teams like Green Bay and New England could get production out of guys we've drafted like Koa Misi and Reshad Jones. I think there's something dysfunctional in our player development. It's pretty severe.

Either that or guys like Koa and Reshad just aren't good...and I refuse to believe that about Reshad. Kid plays way too hard to be worthless.

They have gotten production out of worse talent. Woodhead is the perfect example he is out performing Reggie Bush, what do you think Ol' Billy-boy would make Bush into? ****.........it would probably be the second coming of Sanders.

i mean the guy only had the nickname "matty ice" for a reason coming out of college right?? PERHAPS maybe he can convert 3rd downs, run a 2 minute offense, and actually convert red zone opportunities into touchdowns right??

i mean heaven forbid we do something that ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE!!! if we need a quarterback, what sense does it make to take him EVEN IF HIS NAME IS "MATTY ICE" if we dont have a left tackle to protect him right??? how is jake long working out for Henne this year??

I made a bold prediction Matt Ryan would have more redzone TDs(5) against the Eagles then Henne would have combined going into the bye week!

Sparano time and time again shows his mentality! After the Texas game he praised Henne for throwing it away in the redzone. The " if it is not there throw it away mentality kills this team!" All the great QBs stick it in their. Meatball just wants to fist pump FGs so he can yell at the players to hurry of the field during the tv timeout.
