We are not used to losing seasons here in Dolphin-land, and I certainly don't want to spread doom and gloom, but we are due. This team is not ready to compete. Our O-Line is a mess, our prospect QB is getting killed out there, and our running back(s) can't get any holes to run through.

To make matters worse, our defense is back to choking when it counts. When we really need a stop, we don't get it. As a fan, I will continue watching the games and continue cheering on my team...but I know this is not going to be a good year. I hope that next year we can keep most of our very talented players and wipe the slate clean. Get rid of this inept coaching staff and start anew.

BTW...whoever is playing QB this year should up their coverage for their life insurance, they are gonna need it.

Go Fins!!!.

I'm with you 100%. There's no way in hell this team can turn this around within one season. We may look better in games 14 through 16, but of course that ain't gonna be enough.

Way to sum it up. Not negativity, just reality.

The defense really did not choke, you can't keep only getting 4 plays off (our offensive drives) and play at the level they did all night. The defense needs to get a rest sometimes. And how many times did the Bengals start there drives near the 50?

They did not give up a touchdown, most teams win when that happens I would have to say!

OK dont even begin to put this game on the defense, this loss belongs SQUARELY on the shoulders of the OL and coaching staff. When you dont block anyone you will not be able to do anything offensively!!! The play calling also left something to be desired, 1st and long, 2nd and long and we run the ball?!?!? When you are in those situations run two intermediate routes not 2 yard running plays. If someone is really into stats I would like to know how many 3rd and 8 or mores we had last night.

Yep -- 10 punts says it all.

It's fantastic that they didn't give up a touchdown, but it really doesn't matter. We still got an "L "because the defense could not hold them. The defense gave the Bengals enough room to march down the field and kick the winning field goal. We needed to stop them, this was a crucial stop, we didn't do it. We choked, and it sucks

More like the Decomposing.

I've been optimistic, even when when all the bad things were happening this offseason. I thought we'd pull though, but lastnight I did something I've NEVER done as a Dolfan.....I laughed out loud at our O-Line. I was literally shaking my head and laughing at every miscue the line had. It felt like a comedy show...I was expecting Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler to pop up. It was sad really

I'm sorry, you can NOT put the blame on the defense for this game. If it hadn't been for the defense's stellar play up to that point, the Dolphins wouldn't even have been IN the game in the first place. Besides, who's to say that if the D had stopped them, that Feeley wouldn't have just thrown another interception? The defense has given up a 19 points in 2 games, and the offense has given up 14 points in 2 games. Ridiculous.

Yeah but the play that got them in scoring range was the Johnson catch, which was a horrible call by the coaching staff. We had been blitzing with no effect so we keep doing it and leave Chad Johnson in one on one coverage. This guy is good enough that he is going to get open eventually. Plus the defense looked great for 3 quarters. We couldnt rotate DT's because of Bowen's and Chester's injuries, and guess what guys get tired. If the OL had blocked...........anyone we wouldnt have been in that situation.

I never said I am putting the blame for the whole game on the defense. Actually, the defense kept us in the game. If I had to blame somebody for the game it would have to be our entire O-line. I just made a comment that while our defense is great, they could not make the crucial stop. This is not new, it has happened before, our defense plays a great game then chokes at crucial times, last night was no different.

IF it weren't for that killer Defense, we would've gotten spanked by like 30 points...Please!! Get off the Defense....If anyone blames it on the D, they are total moronic imbasels that should not be allowed to watch football.

our D looked great last night, but the blitzes would come and we had no answer. no audibles, no blocking, NADA. It seems we will ill prepared. That has to be part coaching, part how long these guys have been playing together and as fr as the O line it was part FEAR. they looked shook out there. weak.
