you don't know me yet, so i'll give you a free pass here.BucFan said:You can yawn all you like... to say you guys won't be TRYING to stop Peppers is saying you still believe you guys will make the playoffs.
No big deal... you're not the first Homer a team has as a fan...

that would be a nice gameplan, but the panthers run D is pretty stout. They will force us to beat them through the air. While it would be nice to establish the run, i think this game will fall a decent bit on Gus' shoulders. If Gus doesn't lay an egg, and our receivers learn how to catch, we should do well.Maynard said:whats with the buc's fans? apparently were the only team that has a good website as these haters are bored with their own
anyway, i expect this game to be very tough. i do not think the fins should come out throwing right away. i think the fins should pound the ball. then try to work brown as a reciever to loosen up the linebackers, and pick their spots to throw deep
im pretty confident in the fins run D, but im afraid of smith and proehl. we may see bell in a safety on third downs (maybe more than that) because of his speed

the fact that their secondary is banged up works heavily to our advantage. We must exploit their weakness here, much like we did in Denver. Once Denver's secondary fell, we ate them up.
Same keys to this game. We must pass and pass often to build an early lead... then pound the ball. If not successful pounding, then back to the air. heck, pad Gus' stats.
one DT is out, but two DBs are out, and a 3rd is questionable/doubtful.Maynard said:well i was thinking that since one of their DTs is out, there may be an opening. doing this will at least slow peppers and rucker in the early going.
i agree that gus HAS to connect downfield if we are going to win. im just afraid of the panthers pass rush setting a tone early because the fins put themselves in long yardage situations
