Who here really believed that we were a playoff team coming into this season and had expectations of going 1-1 or 2-0 in these first 2 games? In all honesty I would put the total at about 95% had us at 0-2 and that is exactly where we are right now.

This season isn't about being a Super Bowl team. Sure the team wants that but that just isn't realistic. What this season is about is improving. We need to start trending upward. Again, being honest, we are (at best) a 7 win team this year. What matters is that we show growth, we aren't those teams from before and that Gase gets his system in / his players in / his time in. We want to see that come the end of the season we are looking like a team, that with the right moves, can be a playoff team next year.

That said, we had a chance to win both these games. We could have been 2-0 or 1-1. Instead where are right where we are/were expected to be. Now next week we get the win we are expected before another loss that is expected. Just the way it is and we are going to have lumps this season.

And that said, I do like the fight we have put up in both games. I do like seeing Tannehill go for the kill in both games. We have issues to work out on both sides of the ball but those fixes will hopefully come. If we grow week to week we will get better. Baby steps.

I didn't expect playoffs. Opening at Seattle and at NE is a bull**** way to start the year. But it is what it is.

Time just goes so slow. Week to week is agonizing even with the expectation of not being there yet.

Exactly what I was trying to say in my thread. It isn't reason to panic. We cannot expect to beat good teams. Especially not on the road. What we need to do is focus on beating the Browns at home. I will settle for 6 or 7 wins this year. That shows we are on track with Tannehill at the helm.

I never expect playoffs. No need for meltdowns and letdowns.

I'd rather start slow and get the offense in sync and then end strong and fast as the end of the year.

Time to panic? No. But trying to make yourself feel better about 0-2 won't help.

In reality both games were winnable. Today more so than last week, in yet the team had a better showing in Seattle.

Gonna be a long season, but no need to get pissy. The team IS right where we all expected at this point in the season. I guess that's a positive but highly disgruntled with the product that was displayed on the field today.

All we can hope for is improvement and a win in the home opener next week.

For now, I will get drunk and attempt to maintain sanity through the remainder of today and he first part of the week. Cheers.

This season is about improvement over the course of 16 games. Problem is that when you repeat the same silly mental mistakes repeatedly you dont give yourself a chance to improve. As much as I disliked Tony Sparano, his teams were disciplined. Gase's biggest challenge is ridding this team of the Philbin stench.

This my face after every lost Dolphins game.

Suck at the beginning of the season and win enough games to have a lower draft pick. Story of Fin fans life!

0-2 is fine with how the schedule came out. But they still haven't shown they're losing cause the other teams are just plain better. They're losing cause they still suck at excecuting the basics. Silly turnovers, penalties, missed assignments, drops, poor awareness, poor clock management etc
