We are all upset. We all wanted the win. Now let's be realistic for a second. Let's stop over reacting to the loss. Remember back when the schedule came out and everyone was predicting the final record? I think the average outcome was 4-12 and if I'm not mistaken some were thinking 2-14 at the end of this season. It was based on our talent level, the weakness of our O-line, secondary , linebackers, and complete lack of depth. What's different now that we are 7-5? Nothing really except that we have a stud coach finally who demands production. We lost to a complete, pressure tested, and veteran team yesterday. I hate to say it but we are not ready for the playoffs. In the back of our minds we all know that to be the truth. At 7-5 we are playing with house money, let's enjoy the ride an keep learning how to win consistently in the NFL. We've won two games in a row with our entire left side of the O-line injured. When in the recent history of this team would that have even been possible? Let's keep calm and enjoy the season. I would rather not go into the playoffs just to get ousted in the wildcard round. I have a feeling that with this coach and the year we are having, free agents will want to come here to play and win. We will draft players to fill holes and create depth. I'm looking forward to next season as the our playoff year.

You're right. I wanted a win yesterday but really didn't take it that badly. What's actually really funny is I think there are posters on here who think many other posters had the Dolphins as a Super Bowl team and they didn't so yesterday they were proven right. I think the site actually has a pretty good beat on what this team is. Most are pretty happy with how things have gone so far. Yesterday stings no doubt but the 2016 Miami Dolphins weren't and aren't winning the Super Bowl. I think that's been a fact since day one. I think good days are actually coming they're just not here yet.

I agree. What we saw from Phins on Sunday was a young team still building its talent (with many holes still to fill) dealing with injuries. I can't wait to see Xavian Howard and Reshad Jones in the secondary with some of the talent we already have (LIppett, Rambo, Maxwell). We really need 2 new OLBers. Kiko is solid in the middle, but our outside guys don't have the instincts, speed, or tackling skills we need in that position. We also need some youth at DE. Our age is showing.

I am agree that the sky ins't falling and we were probably never going to win this game anyway (Ravens own us), but I would like to to make the playoffs. Even if we get ousted it adds a level of experience going into next season that is invaluable. How many players do we have on this team with playoff experience? A very small handful. Every playoff game, win or lose, is a notch in the belt for experience. Having that going into next year is HUGE. I would much rather this be our learning curve and next year we have a real mission.

It's okay to still get angry based on where the team is at. Not much was expected of them but since they're right in the mix for a wild card spot, they have a chance to do something.

I'll never understand the idea of saying "well, if they were going to lose in a Wild Card game, I'd rather that they not make the playoffs". That makes no sense. The outcome is immaterial. You never know when the opportunity to make the playoffs will be there. You take your chances.

I think the real buzzkill wasn't that we lost yesterday. What disappointed me the most is how we lost. We didn't really show up and answered the fight. Against a team with a worse record before the game. A team that scored less than 20 a game before they put 24 on us in one half.

A 3-point loss would have been disappointing too but I wanted to see this team fight and assure me that the days of laying down to our opponents are over. They obviously aren't.

I agree.....it is the way we lost. Frustrating......
