I have an idea how we all can deal with our feelings towards Rickey Williams. I was as mad as anybody when he quit on the team last year but he is back now and apparently ready to play to the best of his ability so let's just blame last years' nightmare on Wannstedt. He's the one that overworked Williams and forced him to carry the rock over and over into a brick wall. He's the one who wasn't inventive enough to change the offense when his scheme wasn't working. Rickey is a Miami Dolphin again so let's root for him to be successful and help this team win games. Let's give Rickey a pass and double our hatred for the imbecile known as Wannstedt! I'm convinced we will be a very good team this year so let's get behind all of the players 100%.

I want to go out to the practices without carrying any grudges from last season. This is basically a different team. Saban, Houck, Linehan etc. guarantees a new era of Miami Dolphin Football. The JJ/Wanny regieme is over!!! No more boring, conservative vanilla football. We will be MUCH better coached!!! We will be FUN to watch again. Are we pumped yet??

I have chosen to disreguard everything that has happened from the day Shula retired to the day Saban was hired, sort of like selective amnesia. Hopefully the nightmare is over and things will be getting better from here on in.........

i already blame wanny, for last season, my twisted ankle, the plague, really anything i can come up with.... it is wanny's fault.!!!!

Let's also blame him for having faith in RW and helping him re-start his career after Deuce relegated him to 2nd string.
DW went out on a limb for RW and we saw what that kind of loyalty produced in return. Woe to poor RW, his coach tried to make him the focal point of the offense.
There are a lot of unemployed former college RB's who would give up a testicle to be so overworked.

Works for me. Wanny was the worst coach ever. Maybe just maybe that was ricky's plan. LOL

Why should we blame wanny when he did the best that he could after the team fell apart. it all started with pot smoking ricky failing the drug test

BTW, why don't you stop the personal attacks. I wasn't a fan of DW either, but from all I've read he was one of the nicest guys in the NFL. He has achieved far more in his line of work than most on this board will ever achieve.

Wannabe was to blame for a lot of things, and Im ecstatic that he and Jay are finally off the team..... but he isnt to blame for Ricky.
Ricky is to blame for Ricky's actions, no matter how hard he tries to shift that blame. Ricky is just lucky he works in an industry that is willing to rehire an employee that fails multiple drug tests, quits with no notice, and publicly badmouths his former management and coworkers. All I hope is that Ricky holds it together long enough to build a little trade value so we can dump him and let some other team worry about when the next meltdown will occur.

Just trying to go into this year with a clean slate plus if you can't tell that I'm not deadly serious here you need to learn to lighten up. JL, c'mon guy, it's a new era. I know you didn't enjoy Wannyball. None of us did.

Yeah dude, and that led to all the injuries, and the hurricanes, and the poor game planning, and the lack of depth at every position (especially RB). Please!! This guy was a horrible coach and he and JJ ran this team into the ground. Just look at da Bears.
