How do you tender a guy for 3 years (Davis)? How do you trade a free agent (James)?

I would keep Maurice Smith. I think he will be an excellent box safety. TJ is nothing to build with and Jones is geting up there (may be cut). I would release Spence.

Isn't Brendel always hurt?

I think you've got too many keepers. Normal roster turnover from season to season is greater than that, no matter the plan.

Frank Gore will not be forced to retire. He missed the last few game causing some to forget how special he remained prior to that. If we don't want him, someone else will.

I'm cutting Amendola and not thinking twice about it. It's not there for him anymore, especially on a rebuilding team. He's really slow.

I'd roll with Stills, Wilson, Grant, Butler and draft another with size in the mid-late rounds.
