I think the dolphins should go out and get John Kitna in the off season and draft a first round QB as well. John Kitna could come in give the team stability at the QB position and aleviate pressure from a rookie QB to come in and play when he is not ready yet. Palmer was given a year to learn the system and study NFL defences it is starting to pay off now. However Carr and Harrington were thrown into bad situations and seem to have a lack of confidence now.

Big Ben may have done well in his rookie year but he had a great defence/o-line/running game/ wide receivers, the dolphins will not be at that point next year so i think John Kitna would be a good fit.

I dont mind having Kitna but would much prefer Mcnair and draft a QB..First we gotta see what LEMON Has though.

or perhaps we can trade for rivers or brees whichever one
 
start leinart or quinn immiediately or get a vet to groom them for a season.

What makes you say Kitna is washed up? I have to agree with the other poster that Kitna would be a decent option. Carr, as well. Carr seldom has had time to throw the entire time he's been in Houston.

I like this idea a lot. It really fits in with what Saban was talking about yesterday...finding things that make the team better in the long run. Kitna is the type of guy who can win now, but could also be a mentor for a young QB.

I thought there was a rumor that Mcnair wanted to retire.
 
sure let's copy a team that had like 0 winning seasons for over a decade.
