there was a similar thread to this one but it seems to be one of overall picks and FA but my thread is mainly on last years draft adn FA. What rumor were floating and who were the players you guys and many ppl thought miami would go after but never did or didnt turn out to work. This can help us see how accurate it "can" be so to speak even tho it isn't but just an idae you know. I for one remember Benson being talked as the RW replacement and so far im happy it wasn't him.

I remeber around this time 4 years ago hearing this CRAZY rumor how the Dolphins were going to get either Edgerrin James or Ricky Williams. Yeah, like either of those guys were getting traded!!

Edge is likely done in Indy.....they can't keep making him the franchise player. Older backs are getting replaced by younger cheaper guys.

He was an OL if I remember right. Also Pac man, C wiiliams, C Benson, B Edwards, Matty Jones, D J Johnson, A Rodgers and A Smith. I remember all of them being discussed in threads last year

Last year, Ty Law rumors were floating around a lot over the summer. For a week or so, there was some big talk about possibly getting Plaxico Burress.


A big one from 2003 was that Mark Brunell was going to come here after the Jags released him. However, Gibbs quickly stepped in and traded a draft pick to get him. We then ended up with Feeley.

hmm thanks for the info. i rem the law one but i think the money he wantsed was teh problem and the burress i dint know bout till this board early in the season adn what went wrong there?
