PLAYERS ONLY( no bashing FO. Just moves that can be made to get us back to competing in AFC EAST)
If you were the GM what would you do right now to improve our team? Defense or Offense.
Ill go first.....IMO my main priority would be our WR status. I would try my ass to get us a number 1 WR as soon as possible. Whether that would be our first round pick for Mike wallace, FA signing manningham and trying some how to move up and get blackmon. Or perhaps trade down to a fifteen or so and add more picks for us to add some receivers that are early 2nd round or late first worthy. Try and get most of my guys together to restructure their contracts to free up some cap space to add more weapons.
Right now I feel like we have lost the QB race for Manning and should completely move to another option. I would keep one eye on Flynn but also try and build from the Draft. At this moment I feel we waited way to long to pursue Flynn and I feel we have also lost out on another option. If my man JOE PHILBIN says "we have to get this guy" than I get him no matter what it takes. Now if I can't get him than I will be forced to move on.
My last option would be to assume MAT MOORE is most likely our only option at the qb position. So I try and surround him with weapons to make it easier for him to get us a couple wins. I really like CLAY and I feel he has a lot of potential, however Fasano IMO is just terrible at times to dropping the ball or fumbling it at times. I would acquire some OLINEMAN in FA to help myself in the draft to rebuild and get this team in the vicinity it was before all this happened. Perhaps try and get the fanbase back by going all in for Mario Williams. At least there would be some excitement for this team next season.
This is thread is a way of trying to help those who are upset with the current status of this team. Just trying to help sooth the pain.
