Let's Get To Some Football---Kurt Warner on McD's "O"

I too enjoy his breakdowns. Makes me realize how difficult the QB position is.

I'm happy you said that. But it's amazing how so many seem to think there's nothing to playing QB at the highest level possible.

It's mind boggling!

What these QBs have to know, how fast they have to process, how accurate they have to be..etc. Oh all while under serious distress!

100% agree with the mind boggling statement. The best QBs know where five or six recievers are on the field at any time. When in trouble their mind reflexively jumps to a guy he isn't even looked at once.

I'm really hoping VR gets good enough so I can try that sort of stuff and have it feel a bit realistic. I'm very analytical and would enjoy that challenge without getting picks or pummelation. šŸ˜‚

So true! And every play relying on 10 other players doing their job to having success on each play. Amazing when all parts work for sure.

Remember! The QB not only has to know what his offense is doing. The skill positions assignments, the route, the depht of route, the blocking scheme. But they also have to know the opponents DEFENSE and what they're trying to do.

All in a matter of seconds..not minutes, hours, days etc...but SECONDS.

Going up against the best atheletes the sport has to offer on the other side.

And then you see in college the offense at the line looking to the sideline for a check with me call

Exactly! Helping to take that crazy load off.

It's also why Welker was talking about why Erick E hasn't played yet.

He came from that type of offense and this appears the first time he's having to learn, know, the entirity of the calls and what adjustments to make realtime to be on the same page as the QB.

I did notice a lot of his plays look the same, but the outcome is different. It always keeps the defense guessing.

Not only that..but like the Bills games some plays setup other plays. Tim Jenkins breaks down that route that Waddle and Tua hooked up on this sorta curl out for like 20-30 yards or something. On the very NEXT play i believe they showed the same play or what the defender thought was the same play and added the POST at the tail end of the previous route..right towards the middle of the field on that 3rd and 22 bomb to Waddle..insanity!

Just like That deep TD to Hill in the Ravens game was the same deep play in the Bills game but to Waddle which led to the game winner.

Now.playing Palov which is.kind of like call of duty is fun as all hell. Especially playing mutiplayer with my son who lives in Texas.
