THE DEFENSE!!
I mean they never got rattled, even after getting lit up by Evans and JP Losman in the first quarter, which would be enough to get any defense in the league down. Playing without Tractor Traylor and Zach, they held "the best RB in the league" to 81 yards with a 3.0 ypc. They stayed true to their game plan, and kept fighting and didn't allow any points after the first quarter. Without their efforts, there would be no comeback!

Special props to Sam Madison, who showed he can still make game changing/saving plays when he has the opportunity. Also to Jeff Zgonina who was throwing his body around with reckless abandon, clogging up the middle. And finally to Manny Wright, who showed an explosiveness that we have not seen since Tim Bowens from the DT spot. He is still inconsistent, but he shows that he has the talent to make him a good performer for this defense in the near future. Our youngsters on defense look good, and when we get Poole back next year, we will continue to be a defensive force!

hell yah. ill admit they came out flat but once they settled down they were goin crazy out there. Pope and Crowder were all over the place makin plays.

yea our young guys really stepped up yesterday! Im glad to see they didnt quit and kept on going. Manny WRight, Crowder and Pope kept making huge plays and getting everyone pumped up even when the game seemed out of hand. I loved seeing it.

Yep. They gave up 21 early and they never quit. Gave up only 3 points in the 2nd half. We DESPERATELY need corners.

no 2 points was a safty.;)

I think the "never give up" attitude comes straight from Saban. It's what he's been talking about all year. Take one play at a time, turn the page on the last play and move on to the next.
And, yes, it was great to see Manny Wright have some success. There were a few plays that he was unblockable (and a few they didn't even block him) This should have a huge impact on him and his confidence.

Yeah, THANK GOD Madison was able to pick that ball off at the goal line. With the Bills up 23-3, with a first and goal at our 2, WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY DOING PASSING, an out at that?!! They stuff the ball 4 times and it's game over. Fortunately, they passed and we made the play that kept us in the game. That was HUGE. furthermore, on future posessions for the Bills, they continued to throw (incomplete which stopped the clock every down) instead of pounding the ball up the middle and kill the clock. With Truck, our middle was weak. I AM VERY GRATEFUL for Buffalo's Off. coord. because I see that there are other really stupid OC's out there. I wonder what the Bill's board is saying about the play calling. YEAH BABY!
