Reports are that the Cardinals have lowered their demand on what it would take to acquire Anquan Boldin:

The Cardinals look like they would take a 3rd round pick and a player for Boldin. I think a 3rd rounder and Ted Ginn, Jr. would be a fair trade.

Boldin has had some injuries but he is still way better then anything we have and there is no doubt about this guy's toughness. I never thought he would play with a metal plate in his face a short while after he got injured a couple years back. Let's make them an offer. :woot:

Throw in Dansby and you have my vote!

Go after Boldin eh??? Hmmm interesting... never thought of that. Glad you made a thread about it...

There is a reason why his value has dropped off and that is his problems with staying healthy. I would consider a 4th for him but nothing higher. I suspect the Cardinals won't get much more then that for him.

Thanks, but no thanks. I really believe Boldin is on the downside of his career and I doubt he'll teach our young guns. Let's draft a Dez Bryant, sign Antonio Bryant or go with what we have. Unless Denver wants Ginn and a 2nd for Marshall.......

the cardinals shouldve traded him last season, i see his value really dropping off this time around

I dont know why but I keep getting David Boston flashbacks everytime I think of Boldin in a fin uniform .....

We get him and he is injured and never really plays for 2 years .... no thanks

i would lower my demends also for a guy who gets hurt and you (cards) owe him a good chunk of change. this will be interesting, wait till the last second and lower there demands.

ESPN says in their rumors section that the Patriots are interested in Boldin

What?!? Moss, Welker, AND Boldin? Not fair. How are we gonna cover that? We better have a supreme pass rush next year if that happens. That said, I've wanted Boldin on this team since we picked Eddie Moore in 03. I'd love to see him in a Phins uniform for a 3rd this year or 2nd next year. I'd also love it if we got Dansby in FA. Those two would be all I needed to make me happy with new veteran blood this offseason.

go get this guy now. if he can stay healthy then hes a great reciever. i think a 3rd and ginn is a reasonable asking price and we should take the risk

Trade for Brandon Marshal instead - proven, younger, agressive #1. His attitude can be dalt with. Also if he's part of the game plan and we're winning he'll be happy.
