Lets go back to the original uniforms!

After looking at all the vintage pictures of the team posted here I realized I miss the original uniforms and logo. The old logo and uniform remind me of the glory days of this franchise. The newer logo kinda reminds me of the JJ-Wannsted fiasco. I say lets go back to the original uniforms!!!!

Personally i like the new uni's better. Especially the logo. I like the "white bellied" dolphin much better than the one from the 90's.
 
We have to get a new look. New digs tend to bring home Divisional, Conference, and/or Super Bowl Championships. Worked for Denver, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Seattle and Atlanta to name a few. The only team to not benefit from the uni change is Arizona. Nothing can help those guys.
 
actually st.louis got them the year after they won the super bowl.

Arizona's improving though. They've got 2 Pro Bowl caliber WR's and a decent defense. They just need a RB and they could go wild card just like that.

NO NEW UNI"s !!!

The teams you named have virtually NO TRADITION. The Miami Dolphin franchise is rich in WINS and Tradition!
God! It must be the off-season because threads like this are ridiculous! :shakeno:
 
The only ones I would want back are the 73 unis with the orange socks like we wore on Thanksgiving against Dallas.

I do too. I think what a lot of people tend to forget is the point of having all white uniforms at home. The object, of course, is to put the opponent in their "colors". Which, to anyone who ever sat in the South Florida sun, the purpose is pretty obvious :lol:
 
Another thing that would be pretty sweet. I know it would the ugliest thing anyone has ever seen, but i wouldnt mind seeing them take the field one evening in all orange. Like i said, i know it'd be ugly, but it would be pretty funny.
 
I don't want to go completely back to the old uni's but I would like to have at least one or two games were we use the old "throwback" uni's like we did with the Thanksgiving Game in '03, but go ahead and use the old style logo on the helmet as well.

I'd really like to get some "throwback" jersey's with current players like zach and jt. Wish I had bought some back in '03 when they had them available after the Thanksgiving Game.

I wouldn't mind seeing that. I'm all for, on special occasions, doing tribute type stuff to the old look, but nothing permanent.
