I want to compare our 3 QB's from lat year to prove a point. I am going to post numbers in this order. Games played, Completion Percentage, Yards per completion, and TD's to int's.

Trent Green: GP-5, CP-60.3%, YPC-7, TD-int- 5-7
Cleo Lemon: GP-9, CP-56.0%, YPC-5.7, TD-int- 6-6
John Beck: GP-5, CP-56.1%, YPC-5.2, TD-int- 1-3

Trent had the luxery of Brown and Chambers, and Lemon had Chambers for a lot of his games. My point is these numbers are very similar, with Green slightly better as to be expected, but not that much better.
So really this post is to anyone who said Trent or Cleo looked a lot better with our O-line last year... Um, no they didn't, here is the proof, along with our record. We as a team were pretty bad as a whole. So get off of Beck's jock.

You do realize you're only referring to probably 3 posters, and consequently probably the 3 lowest wonderlic scorers! :sidelol:

You're right, a small turd thrown in your face is better than a massive turd thrown in your face.

Um i don't believe Lemon had Chambers for any of his games like you say. B/c he would of had to of been traded before week 6 which is the trade deadline, and Green played the first 5 games.

Lemon only had Chambers for one game this year and after that he got traded

Great job cherry picking the stats to fit your argument. Of course you didn't mention the sacks, sack yardage or the fumbles lost.

Green sacked 7 times for 53 yards thats 7.57 yards lost per sack, 1.4 sacks a game

Lemon sacked 25 times for 166 yards thats 6.64 yards lost per sack, 2.8 sacks a game.

Beck sacked 10 times for 69 yards thats 6.9 yards lost per sack, 2 sacks a game.

Green fumbled 2 times in basically 4 games
Lemon fumbled 6 times in nine games
Beck fumbled 7 times in 5 games.

Drastic difference.... um no.

How about doing some research.

Ya drastic difference.

I don't understand why all of these John Beck apologists keep trying to spin what occurred last year. Beck was flat out terrible.

Let's hope he has learned fom his horrific play last year and will come in and compete well for the job this year. If he is able to beat out McCown and Henne then great...................the Dolphins have three young QBs that competition should bring out the best in this year.

Let's not. Let's look forward to this year. Last year was so bad it made people long for the days of Feeley.

Um, no it isn't. and beck had a 62 QB rating with minimal reps with the number 1 squad.

minimal reps lol, after preseason , Lemon had no reps and was thrust into the staring role.

You cannot decypher your own stats I spoke only on fumbles and Beck averaged like two a gamewhich was a much higher rate than either of the other qb's
