We all know this season is over with, but we have good days ahead of us if we can continue to lose. I was in favor of gettin rid of sparano but no coach can lose a game better than him, so i guess its better to stay with him. Lets be honest here, there is no freakin way we are catching the pats, bills, or jets..... The question is, how good is andrew luck? how good is andrew luck with john gruden at the helm?

it will take a 3-13 season to get the #1 pick and I think firing a coach during the season doesn't really do anything good...this offense needs to score TD's in the red zone and that is the main reason we are 0-3 instead of 2-1 (Pats game was a no chance at the start of the 2nd half). And Gruden isn't that great of a HC. He inherited the Bucs from Dungee and those Oakland teams he coached had a lot of gritty vets and great QB play from Gannon. I think if (and when) Sporano is gone at the end of the season; if I were Ross; I wouldn't just try to hire a big splash name but I'd step back and let the football people make the football decisions and try to get more celebs to get involved b/c by week 10, that is the only reason people will be coming to games if they keep playing this way. I love the phins and always will but DAMN it is frustrating watching us constantly suck or be mediocore while you watch teams like the Lions, the Cards, all turn their franchises around; when are we going to get our Peyton Manning, or our Larry Fitzgerald, or our Stafford/Megatron combo from the draft...when????????

I like your thinking. Look at what Gruden did with the Raiders, and at the respectable performances he got out of journeyman QBs with the Bucs, and tell me he couldn't work some magic with Luck.

I'm rooting hard for the Colts tonight.

I don't know if 3-13 gets you the #1 pick. Probably more like 1-15 or 2-14. Anyways, the only time I want to see Luck and Gruden together is on ESPN's QB Camp. I can live with Gruden as head coach, but I think there are much better options available.

it would be pretty incredible. u better pray for a lot of misfortune tho. as poor as this team seems, they will absolutely have to flat out quit (i know they have - BUT) i mean they have to find NOTHING to play for to lose enough games for the number 1 pick. as poor as henne is, they can still move the ball with him, and this team has too many weapons on offense not to. this team just has too much to end up with the worst record unfortunately.

Gruden has an agenda that goes beyond winning football games. The guy will just win a nice contract. Go thru the motions of coaching and end up going back into commentating. Not a good candidate in my opinion.

A franchise QB wont take us that far, as long as Ireland and Sparano are still in charge. Need to get in a quality GM who knows how to evaluate talent properly. Gruden or Cowher would be a big upgrade over Sparano. I'd be happy with either of them, at least they each have a ring and have got it done in the past.

It would be a nice thought if Gruden took over the QB coach position and Cowher was the head coach. Just throwin it out there.....

well im not sure they need to do anything diff we are 0-3 and deep in running for first pick, with all these weapons as u say we still have only scored 2 tds in the last two weeks against less than stellar defenses

dolphins can move the ball folks but the fact is they cant score in the redzone worth a ****, we have to be the worst team in the redzone in the league, imo that says it all. The freaking colts with 60 year old kerry collins can score better in the redzone than henne, time for people to face the facts, chad henne sucks ***.

Why do all of you guys think that Gruden or Cowher would even come here, or anywhere else for that matter? They are making big bucks on TV and do not have to work 18 hour days and deal with all the headaches of a headcoach. I honestly don't look for either one of them to ever coach again.
