Let's not lose faith in Saban's judgement

He knows much much much much much more about this team than any of us do.

Just because he cut so-and-so player doesn't make him the worst coach in Dolphins history as some of you guys are putting it. His judgement stands and time will tell if he made the right decision.

Agree...The only people that seem to be losing faith are those that think if your last name is Vick you are a football God despite not proving yourself where it counts the most -- on the field of play.
 
Lose faith? No way. Lose faith over a 5th WR and Marcus Vick who really didnt do anything to distinguish himself in ST? Vick will simply need more work at WR. He had a short stint.

I am quite happy that we kept Vickerson and Zgonina and Evans. I am also happy that we will be soon getting another RB. Hopefully Davenport.
 
Saban pretty much came out and said Vick was a PS squad guy last week when he made the comment about finding a way to keep him around.

Russel earned his spot by being more consistent than Gibson and being a big contributor on special teams.

Well, there were people out there who said the same thing 2-3 years ago. I still doubt that Wannstedt knows more about football and talent than I do. But I absolutly agree with your take on Saban. We should trust him and his stuff.

Totally agree. I don't know why people are down on Zgonina. He's stepped up every time he has been called on. Also, I think Ron Dayne would be a good fit, better than Davenport.
 
your a fool if you lose judgement in saban just because what he did for the 5th wr position. i mean come on now dude. saban didnt think vick was ready and it appears that it was a crime to cut him.
 
Well, we still have the waiver wire and possible trades to come, so give Saban the benefit of the doubt. There are alot of good players available now.
 
I haven't completely lost faith in Saban and he's probably the second-best coach the Fins have ever had, but that aura of perfection now has a chink in it. He better have a big-*** trade to pull out of nowhere for the present roster to be justified, because otherwise that chink's going to become even deeper.

Zgonina is a good player, I agree. Maybe not a starter at this point but he can still bring it.
 
There is a reason for everything Saban does. People just need to be patient. By the way, for all that do not know this, NFL teams can only keep 53. We can't keep them all.

I have Faith. There are alot of teams that thought we would cut a DT now if they want one of ours they have to trade. We will pick up a RB. We will make the playoffs this year and possibly Superbowl next year. Don't forget people we stole DC for a second round pick. Compare that to speilman getting AJ Feely for a second.
