number one hire tony sparano as coach. Much better canidates out there but just had to bring a cowboy with us to coach. Currently leading us on a zero win season with three losses in double digits
has to be number one on any list. cant build a winner if your coach doesnt know how to manage a game and isnt a leader. plain and simple. if your head coach doesnt give the team its best opportunity to win games, then all is lost before it even begins.
wars are won BEFORE they are fought is a sun tzu mantra. clearly when it comes to the dolphins, games are already lost before the players take the field - because of a head coach that doesnt understand how to win games

parcells is a given. but he WAS the front office lol. it goes without saying - parcells is the biggest factor in our failures. we have what 4 players left that were here prior to parcells? this is entirely on parcells. but since he was the front office - we have to list HIS errors
thats number 2 on the list. gotta have a head coach. gotta have a quarterback. should be pretty simple. parcells in all his "genius" couldnt figure this out

giving vernon carey a huge extension. Signing gibril wilson. signing jason taylor over manny lawson. not getting a stellar free safety. not trading a defensive lineman, when we have PLENTY of depth. Not bringing in sage rosenfels fast enough. having tony sporano change his micromanaging ways, which has led to a P*S*Y coaching philosophy that loses respect and hard work from all players.. Because of this, We have experienced too many hamstring injuries, and a team that came into the season in less physical shape in the heat than the new england patriots, who are from NEW ENGLAND. Tony lost before he played a game this season. Too much talent on this team to be 0-4.. we need a leader and tony will never be that...

I know just messing with you. You know how it feels when you witness something such as a huge train wreck. You seem to look around you and ask yourself a lot of questions. Like who the hell brought this clown here?
I been preaching for a while that we need someone like Rich McCay. He did a really good job with multiple teams and has an excellent track record. He was a great contributor toward building Tampa from a laughing stock
to a Super Bowl team. Let someone like him make the decision to hire a coach of his liking since I would trust his good judgement.

well u know i have caught hell for years because I have not agreed with the direction of my favorite team and was not a fan of parcells from the beginnning

If memory serves me right you actually didn't like the idea of the big tuna here lol. Is hard to be optimistic when the big tuna's tenure in Dallas could be considered a failure at this point as you look back.
Why would you give a failure money to do something he couldn't do with a better team.

the only hire I kind of liked was saban and he needed a strong gm, still feel over time he would have been a really good nfl coach but we will probably never know. his biggest mistake was not trying to develop a qb. It woulf have been nice to take Aaron rodgers but nobody on this board would have been ok with that pick well not many. i actually argued that rodgers was a better pick than Brown. I remeber argueing about how it made no sense he fell that far after being considered for the number one overall pick. Thought we should have traded down if possible if not qb is more important than runningback.
you are right about saban. too bad he was picking the players. he could have been a successful NFL coach. Rodgers was a huge mistake. he was being considered #1 and most reports had him coming to miami. he should have. once again, u cant pass a POTENTIAL franchise QB when u dont have one. EVER. and u dont take a running back #2 unless his name is barry sanders or adrian peterson
