False. When Johnson was still "in the know" he could nab talent. But once he was away from college for a while he was pretty unspectacular. He left the game before the college totally left him. If he were to come back now (which will not happen by any stretch of the imagination) you would be wishing we still had Ireland within a year or two.

It's cute how everyone has an opinion. Your point has no merit. Jimmy assembled one of the greatest compilations of talent EVER at the U, he proved he was no "one hit wonder" by doing the same thing with the Cowboys. He was doing it again with the Dolphins seeing how in his short time with us, he managed to assemble a deadly cast of studs on the defensive side of football and that is not limited to 2 HOFers in JT and Zach Thomas, he got more stud players in 4 years than ANY Dolphins GM has gotten us in the last 13. What are you basing your statement on honestly?
