A.J. Feeley had a good game.

Gus Frerotte had a better one.

It was the first ******* game.

Lets stop comparing Feeley to Berlin.

Feeley got an injury, big ******* deal, if Urlacher was coming full speed at you untouched, you'd be hurt too

Feeley was leaving the game within the next few seconds anyway.

Frerotte's knowledge of the offense sreved him well tonight.

THIS COMPETION IS NOT CLOSE TO BEING OVER.

Did I mention it was the first game??

I agree we still got alot of football to be played..... but man does Manual Wright have to hit the gym and get back into shape

I don't know about that. It seems to me it could very well be over by this time next week. That seems to me to be pretty close.

I felt bad for Feeley when Derrius T dropped another one, but Feeley is always looking the same and will never last anyway with V Carey blocking.
Gus will be a major factor this year.

I agree the competition is close to being over. Feeley didn't look terrible, but IMO he was the same exact QB we saw last year. Frerotte on the other hand looked like an NFL quarterback and had control of the offense. It's only 1 preseason game, but Feeley has to show a lot to prove he's the best man for the job.

Madden was dissin Wright bad, i felt bad for him. His family watching the game with all his friends there. and showing the video of him crying. Then saying he's to outa shape and he dont need to be playing..I didnt think that was to cool of john madden to say at all

Well Wright could changed all that by playing hard mental toughness (means going to gym running extra sprints after practice sloopy weak

Vickerson got Pancaked on the goal line sorry effort

Dude - did anyone else think that Brock Berlin looked AWESOME tonight?! I couldn't believe some of the throws he was making. Yeah yeah, he had the INT that settled the game - but other than that - REALLY GOOD

What do you guys think?

Good game overall - Defense needs to step up. Offense looks a lot better. Friggin O LINE needs to STEP UP!!

AJ's throws weren't that bad, and he didn't get that much playing time. If Thompson would have made that catch than he would have had something going. I did like what Frerotte did, and i think AJ needs to be a bit more poised, but let's not be totally down on AJ.

I would say Frerotte and AJ had a similar night. Frerotte had a lil luck with his TD pass. It could have easily been INT'd as the TD he scored.

I am quite impressed just how good AJ has looked compared to Frerotte. Seeing as how Frerotte is supposed to know this offense so much better you would think he would just blow AJ away.

IMO he did blow AJ away. AJ has all the tools physically, but he still looks lost out there.
