Let's say we finish 9-7.....

Slaughter the Raiders .... I hope but I don't see it. It's quite unpredictable due the location and I discount the result regardless .... Raiders are traveling how many time zones.

I'm tired of half measures because we came out 7-9 or 8-8. That is what RT will get us.

We need to look for a hotter girlfriend. She is not going to pretty up with some lipstick and blush.
 
Anyone who thinks we beat the Pats again this year is crazy... specially since we play them in Foxborough and Tom Brady wants revenge.

I agree, of course. That was the point of my satirical post.

Last week, beating the winless Chiefs was supposed to right the ship after a disastrous loss in Buffalo. Someone should have told the Chiefs that they were the ones being led to the slaughter.

This week, beating the winless Raiders is supposed to be the tonic this team needs. As if beating a hapless team that's had to travel over 5,000 miles to get to the game is supposed to make everyone feel OK about this franchise. And what will the excuses be if they don't win?

Don't care what the record is.

If we don't make the playoffs Philbin and possibly Tannehill are both gone.

Hickey brings in his own staff or possibly promotes Lazor who knows.
 
I would feel great about this season and horrible about the future b/c that would mean all of our coaches would stay. And with our luck, prob all sign 3 yr extensions.

Except the Raiders left for London from Boston after the game Sunday, and we are leaving Thursday night and flying a redeye. The Raiders will be acclimated and on a normal sleep patern, mean while our guys bodies will be waking up between 3-4am to get ready for the game.

Same thing I said when almost the exact same question was asked during Sparano's final year: I'd feel pretty good because it would mean Philbin learned how to coach, Tannehill finally learned how to play Quarterback, our WRs learned how to catch, Finnegan found where Capt. America's serum was hidden, our DBs learned how to tackle, we actually put LBs on the field instead of only sending out 8 players on defense (or are they out there?), special teams learned how to cover a kick, and Sturgis gets glasses so he can see where the goal posts are.

Plenty of time left for all of that, right?

You'd think people would learn by now that there are no easy teams for the Phins anymore. And Oakland's defense is no pushover.
 
Yeah someone posted their stats yesterday their defense is good enough to give us fits. Teams are gonna just take away our run and dare Tannehill to beat us! I'm sure Philbins game plan will counter that by establishing the run down 9 in the 2 minute drill or some other dumb ****!
 
Keep playing the way we are and we are in for another 1-15 season.

I'm 100% for starting Moore, and even that seems a little bold for me. :lol:

…but, I do think it would save this season, and at least give us the possibility to make the playoffs. I view this team a lot like the Jets the year they got Favre, they brought in all these great free agents JT, Plaxico, LT, etc. It got to them AFC championship and when they blew it, they lost that whole roster. I feel like we have more talent this year than any year in recent memory, we need to capitalize on it, while they are still here.
