Lets say we win monday are we contenders again?!

i think so if we win monday we can be looking at being contenders again

that would make the jets 3-2

dolphins 2-3

pats vs denver so who really knows about that game they could be 3-2 also


i dunno i think if we win monday we have hope to at least be wildcard contenders
 
clearly. the jets suck.

the Pats will be 5-1 next week though if they beat the Broncos..
i dont think we can win the division, NE is only gonna get better, they probably lose 3-4 games this entire year.

We have a chance to go 5-1 in the divison(we cannot sweep Pats) but we will sweep the rest up..
10-6 is acheiveable, but it may not be enough for a wildcard birth..

so now you're sweeping the division except for the pats who you're splitting with? lol.......i can't wait till monday night. then the talk will go back to the draft around here.....
 
A wildcard berth is going to be dang tough. I know it's early and a lot can change between now and the end of the season, but here are the other teams that will probably be vying for a WC berth:

Jets
Steelers
Broncos or Chargers
Bungles (are they for real?)

Have to beat the Jets twice, have to beat the Steelers. And that Chargers loss might hurt us if they don't win the AFC West.

I for one am not talking about the playoffs or even winning the division. But I am talking about how we do match up with the Jets well. And two wins in the division could save our season.

I heard another Jets fan on here, maybe that was you I can't remember, saying the Jets were going to be coming out angry. Well, I say desperate beats angry, especially at home, and make no mistake the Dolphins are in desperation mode to save our season.

Should be an interesting game to say the least.

Contenders, pretenders who cares we would be 2-3 thats all, nothing more nothing less! :err:

Everyone is just high off our blowout of the Bills. They aren't thinking rationally.Though if we were to sweep the division, that would be the best tasting crow I could ever eat in my life.
 
We'd be back in the hunt, but it feels like we're running a hundred yard dash and Manning just "pantsed" us at the start.
 
they way I see it... we can only loose two more games to make the playoffs.

doesn't matter which two we loose, but if we don't get to 11 wins, we'll be sitting at home in jan.
 
We lost the first quarter of the football season. Tony Dungy once said to be a playoff team you have to win most of you quarters in football.

We went 1-3 in the first quarter. We will need to win the next quarter of football to turn it around.
 
IF we win on Monday I say yes for sure. We were 2-4 at a week 6 or 7 and the bills were 5-1 or something. Pats will expose the Broncos for what they are, as much as I'd hate to see that, and destroy them by 21 or more, so forget that game.

2-3 with momentum going into the Saints game and a bye week to prepare is a good thing. Last year we had our hearts ripped out in a last second loss to the Texans so momentum would definitely be different than last season. BUT WE NEED TO WIN MONDAY FIRST.
