We saw some of the leadership earlier in the year (when he told Matthews to GTFO) and would like to see more of that fire. This is his team and if he is the QB I believe him to be he should be able to rally the team. He is QB1 and it is his team....I like Tannehill a lot and this should tell us what kind of QB he is.

its time for Tanny to step into the leadership role, its really up to him at this point whether the team sticks together and gets thru this **** or if we crumble and it spirals out of control...this game vs Tampa isn't just important for our hunt for the playoffs but its important that this team sticks together thru tough times, a loss could be crippling to the morale of the team with all of this going on.

Tanny needs to channel that late-game heroic ability and play on that edge all the time. He's made a lot of great plays in last minute drives, some of them damn near miraculous and 6 if Gibson just keeps running. The pure determination to make the plays and not be thwarted. Chasing the action in front without looking back to fear failure. You can just tell at some points they're just trying not to screw up. It's joyless and is prohibitive to winning. When I watch them, I imagine a confidence meter (like in a video game) wavering back and forth and when it ebbs, terrible things happen.
If this persists, then hello 2014. They have to believe in their abilities and just get clear. Do what you do well and you shall be rewarded.
