Last year, I posted a thread about fight songs at the games. This thread is not a "Let's get rid of our song thread", so save your breath if that's what you want.

I would love to begin a movement to organize fans at the games to be a more unified front. What I mean is this--
Have you ever seen a Toronto Maple Leafs or Kansas City Chiefs home game?
Have you ever watched an Arsenal soccer match at Emirates stadium?

These are 2 examples where the fans make themselves heard and/or seen. In Toronto, everyone in the crowd wears white. KC they wear red. At Arsenal games, they sing song after song....taunt songs, support songs, etc. The closest thing we have to coordinated fans at fins games is the National Anthem that they try, in vain, to get the crowd to sing. The crowd is filled with teal jerseys, white jerseys, orange jerseys, and different colored hats.

Why couldn't we...in this era of rebuilding....become a coordinated force at the games? Back in the days of the OB, WE were one of the 2 teams (the other was Seattle) that forced the NFL to have crowd noise penalties because the closed end was so deafening. And no, I don't mean yelling the tired and outdated "hooah" after every "That's another Miami Dolphins first down" (God that sucks and is boring).

I know that games are more expensive now and people claim that most of the people that go are "professionals"----but I say, get off yer ***** people and be heard or seen. Every home game, every person should wear white. Doesn't have to be a jersey or even fins clothing, but it should be white since that is, traditionally, what we wear at home. In Seattle, the 12th man celebration is probably the best show of fan support in America. The fans support the team and the team acknowledges the fans.

So lets do this....

i will go to first game vs jets i just want to sing SWEET CAROLINE

saludos desde mexico city

Sure, Sweet Caroline is funny, but it seems like every stadium started doing that. Everyone played Crazy Train from Ozzy for 2 years. Let's be different. If we can't make up our own fight songs to sing en masse, then we should at least give the appearance of some unity. It sickens me to go to fins games and to hear the dull moan of the crowd. Sure, they haven't given us a whole lot to cheer about, but the European soccer teams that have the worst records are often the most vocal.....taunting the other teams and players. I don't mean one guy yelling at the Jets...I mean a whole crowd in unison. While it sickens me to hear the J-E-T-S, you gotta give em credit, they are, at least, unique and recognizable.

Unfortunately this is the way of the future. With rising ticket prices and the introduction of things such as sushi and 4000 plasma tv's scattered around the stadium we are marketing to a different crowd. The orange bowl was a man's stadium, no fancy sky boxes but the old lady would be rocking on 3rd downs. The word luxury box makes me sick....this is football people, not ruth chris steakhouse!!

Amen!! I love seeing these A-holes at games wearing dress shirts and expensive shoes. The OB, despite its....shortcomings (i.e. nastiness), was an amazing venue for games. Aside from the guy that I saw taking a dump in a sink (yes, really), the OB had character and it was represented in its fans. Dolphins Stadium lacks soul....but I truly believe that we could bring it there. It would be great to be feared by other teams for more than the heat on the field. I cant imagine any players from opposing teams ever look forward to playing in Seattle. That place is amazing.

While i love the enthusiasm coming from the original poster and will do everything in my power to help the revolution, i just have one humongous reservation...DOLPHIN STADIUM.

The configuration of that stadium is a looming cancer to our team and our fan morale.

I truly believe we would have as good and as loud as fans as anyone,{we had a great reputation at the orange bowl, hmmm}but the configuration of that building will always win. and i HATE IT

i love the fight song. its my ring tone. and i know what you mean by everyone wearing one color at cardinals games we all wear red. the problem is they(the team) promote orange and white as our colors also. i agree we all should wear aqua. i will at the stl game

You know, if one person -- just one person -- does it they may think he's really sick and they won't let him in.

And if two people -- two people -- do it, in harmony, they may think they're both dancers and they won't take either of them.

And three people do it, three -- can you imagine? -- three people walking in wearing a pink Jason Taylor jersey and walking out. They may think it's an organization.

And can you...can you imagine fifty-thousand people a game, I said fifty-thousand people a game, walking in wearing a pink Jason Taylor jersey and walking out. And friends, they may thinks it's a movement.

And that's what it is , the Miami Dolphins Anti-Heterosexual Movement, and all you got to do to buy your pink Jason Taylor jersey and wear it the next time the Dolphins play in Miami...

You can get neverending grief,
From dancing on ABC,
You can get neverending grief,
From dancing on ABC,
Walk right in with your pink jersey,
Get your butt kicked back to Big Pine Key,
You can get neverending grief,
From dancing on ABC!
