Couple things:

Jeff Ireland is NOT the worst GM in football. He is quite good actually. He drafts well, and I'm looking forward to another draft with him exclusively making the picks.

If we end up with Moore as our starter next year, it's not the end of the world. The guy showed alot of moxie last year, and could lead us through an exciting year as we hopefully develop a prospect (forget this line if we sign Flynn).

We are NOT one of the worst teams in the league. Lest we forget, Miami finished the year playing like a playoff team. Losing Brandon Marshall doesn't all of a sudden make our defense or special teams worse. Also keeping in mind the type of offense we will be running a #1 reciever like Marshall in not necessary, you're better off with a solid group of Betas, than with a Alpha.

So take a deep breath. Stop listening to the sensationalist media, and get excited for a big year.

The plan is to let Matt Moore, the young QB we draft (Tannehill), and the vet we bring in to compete for the starting job.

I think this was the plan the whole time. They only wanted Manning if he fell into our laps, but he wanted some serious money and a team that is winning now.

Quite Good? LOL, Back to back 7-9 seasons and a 6-10 season say otherwise. We are picking top 10 for a reason.
Chubbs

Those records are not an accurate reflection of the talent on the field. Also, keep in mind, last year was his first year making all the personnel decisions. Not since Jimmy Johnson have we had so many starters that we actually drafted. We haven't had a single first round bust, and have discovered several late round gems. I don't know where people are getting this Jeff Ireland sucks **** from?

I would even go as far as to argue he's one of the better GMs in the league.

Hey! Welcome back! Recovering from the long-overdue Sparano firing?

This coming from the same guy who thought Morono was a good head coach. Ireland has a chance to redeem himself, but let's not sit here and pretend that he hasn't had his share of screw ups since he's been here.

I still don't agree with the Sparano firing, but what are you going to do? Philbin kind of scares me and reminds a bit of Cam Cameron, let's hope the only thing they have in common is that they were OC's of some high flying offenses before they got to Miami.

I feel like Sparano, and currently Ireland get an unfair bad rap. People are trying to say we're the laughingstock of the league. How soon they forget 2007 and the damage Cam Cameron did in one season. Ireland and Sparano brought us back to respectability. Ireland continues to make solid personnel moves, especially now that he's making all the decisions now.

Pretty much this.

I like your post, but why does it sound so much like propaganda?

And I would much rather have one Alpha receiver (not named Brandon Marshall) and a bunch of betas right behind him...Even Philbin had an Alpha WR in Greg Jennings in Green Bay

If this(Finheaven) was a baseball game, a lot of the people on this site would give up after the first inning if they wre down 1-0. More FA, the draft, vet cuts are still yet to come, yet some have given up on 2012 already.
