I find the discussion pretty interesting about whether they will go undefeated. I don't think they will, because the competition is better, but they will still have a good record. So let's look at their schedule.

BUF
@NYJ
ATL
BAL
@DEN
TEN
@TB
MIA
@IND
NYJ
@NO
@MIA
CAR
@BUF
JAX
@HOU

Bills - NE has beaten them like 10 straight games or something. This could be the year the bills win one; they might have the offense to keep up, but defense isn't strong enough.

Jets - This one was a close call for the pats late in the season in 2007; they'll keep it close.

Falcons - This will be good. Falcons will have a pretty good offense. This could be a tough game for the pats.

Ravens - I'm looking forward to this one. A defense that could really stop Brady and the pats.

Broncos - Without Cutler, I don't see the Broncos keeping this close.

Titans - This could also be a defense that could stop them.

Bucs - I don't see this being that close, either

Dolphins - We're a much better team than we were a few years ago, and we play them tough.

Colts - The annual Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning matchup. Always a great game.

Saints - A good QB battle. Brady is better than brees, plus the pats have more weapons at WR.

Panthers - This one will be close.

Jags - A decent team, but won't really give the pats any trouble

Texans - A good team on the rise, that will be a tough test.

We'll have to wait and see. I guess most pats fans figure 11-14 wins, and that could happen.

You realize that Baltimore has NEVER beat the pats right? The Pats will run 4 and 5 wide and take 90% of all the snaps from the gun and make Baltimores front 7 practically useless and exploit their lack of CB quality....Pats win by at least 10 imo.

So I guess you figure every game on the schedule will be tough? I don't really think the Texans, Falcons or Titans will beat the Patriots this year.

ok, ok, let me start over. I always forget to take into consideration when making threads that some people can be downright rude.

Anyway, that's my opinion; trying to come up wth (non-offensive to fans of any team) comments was a little tough, especially if I don't know a lot about every team. But that's my opinion.

I understand this. But Houston? Really? Tough test for the Patriots?

On their day, they can be a very dangerous team, especially at Reliant where they were 6-2 in a tough division.

With the additions of Cushing and Barwin through the draft, their defense should be much improved also.

But I'm sure the small Housten Texans will be no match for the might New England Patriots :rolleyes2:. I'm sure you were saying the same thing last season about your game in week 3.

How can you analyze the schedule before training camp, where injuries can happen, where surprising cuts are made? You might as well analyze the schedule for next year too then.

So are you predicting a Houston win that day? But I guess you're right, flukes do happen.

Any team with good receivers and a decent qb can be dangerous. Texans have that in Schaub, Slaton & Johnson.

Unless the pats develop a strong pass rush, I cna see the Texans pointing 24+ on the board. I still think the Pats would put 30+ up at the same time, but we'll see.

Houston is gonna beat the Colts this year and yes, they will be dangerous so long as their QB stays upright...but I guess the same could be said for the patriots.

OConnell? okie dokie

I just keep going back to how everyone said we had an easy schedule last year and how we just eeked past teams like Seattle...then i see on NFLN how the Pats just eeked past Seattle...

So considering that the Pats also had an easy schedule last year (considering as well you played the 1-15 Dolphins twice):chuckle: I would consider the Pats tough schedule for sure. Week to week it is tough regardless who you play and the wear and tear week to week is the key here. Is Brady up to it? Will the team collapse because they just are not the same championship team like everyone imagines with all these new guys?

If you think real hard, Brady is just not going to have the same attitude in the past. He will be wearing a knee brace.The Colts will struggle this year because of the changes to that team, and they will also have a tough schedule. I would not count on the ussual suspects being there in the end this time around. The Houston Texans started out 0-4 and ended up 8-8 and should have beaten Indy. So....I think alot of people have no idea what will transpire. Its just the same ol tired sheep echo of repeat repeat repeat so therefore it must be true mentality goin round.

I think it will be a good game and the texans will be in the game in the 3rd qtr at least.

Johnson is a beast. Slaton is just the type of RB that gives them fits, and Williams will get in the backfield early & often.

I also agree the Falcons & Saints games will be tough. it all depends on the defense, especially the pass rush. Any team witha good qb will give them trouble unless they get some speed off the edge.

I think the division will come down to the Patriots and the Dolphins. Im predicting both will finished around 10-6, 11-5. It's all going to come down to divisional games, just like last year. The Jets are going to be a train wreck, and the Bills are the Bills. 2 sweeps for each team. Split the series with New England. Therefore all conference games will be key. Lets just hope Miami comes out on top.

The difference between the AFC EAST teams and who they play:

Buffalo- Cleveland, @KC (cleveland plays buffalo tough and has won in the past + KC will be tough at KC)
NY Jets - Cincinatti, @Oakland (two games that will not be as easy as presumed)
NE- Baltimore, @Denver (Personally I would rather play San Diego than Baltimore and Pittsburgh at end of season might decide home field advantage should we surprise again. Denver it would seem would be an easy win for NE but consider that Denver's HC knows the NE offense very well)
