I know it's a bit early to talk about the next game and I know most of you are still enjoying the pounding we gave the Chargers but I am anxious about the next game already, it's just that this team is so much fun to watch now. Do you guys fear the Texans? How do you think we will fair against them? Any predictions?

I believe we will finally get our first victory against the Texans. I don't see why we will come out flat for this game. Thoughts?

I fear the Texans only because we have never beat them. We are the better team and SHOULD win, but the fact that as a franchise we have never beat the Houston Texans scares me.

I feel like it's going to be a close game..Texans have nothing to lose at this point..So i expect to see them go for it on 4th downs, onside kicks etc. It's really weird to realize after last season that we have a lot more to lose than our opponent for once.

Most important thing is to contain Andre Johnson..if he gets it going, it's going to be a very long day for our secondary...
I'm also pretty excited to see Jake Long go against Williams..Great matchup

This game worries me as well. I know we CAN beat the Texans, because I believe we are the better team. But the Texans are better than that 0-4 record shows. We will have to find a way to contain Steve Slaton plus they have a much improving Defense. I would really like to see us attack them early and put their backs against the wall. They will be tough at home and are desparate for a win.

They just beat 2 tough teams so let's hope they have something left, they should. Houston has some serious skills for losing games did you see what they did last week:sidelol: The Dolphins should have beat the Texans last year and I think they have improved a lot more than the Texans have:) Once I heard the home fans cheering last week it felt like the Dolphins were finally back. I can't wait for next week:up:

I never cared much for team records against other teams. The fact that we have never beat the Texans is nothing more than a statistical coincidence. This team is completely different than the last one that played so I expect a different result.

That is the matchup I fear the most, Andre Johnson vs. our secondary, I hope Will Allen sticks to him like glue. On the other hand, the Texans are coming off a demorilizing defeat which can affect them for this game. I read an article today can't remember where that quoted Andre johnson saying that the players are going to have a hard time getting over the Colts game.

The Texans are better than their record indicates, but if we go in there and play them as though they were San Diego we will win. As long as we dont take them for granted I believe we will win. This is where we see if the Vets can teach the rookies how to be Pros.

You guy's have said it... WE HAVE NEVER BEAT HOUSTON!!! so that alone scared the daylights out of me... it's obvious the 2008 fins are a very physical bunch... lets hope they go into relient stadium and knock some texans around and grab a win!!!

I just hope they come into this game with their psych messed up due to that disaster last week.

I'm just hoping that Andre Johnson doesn't go Boldin/Fitzgerald on us. Then again, Moss never did anything against us, and no one on the Chargers did, and I'd say theyre a bit better than Houston.

It's a toss up really.

Miami WILL win this game, and I will be there to watch it happen. SA_BUTTA got it right; contain Slaton. That is the key. Andre Johnson is big and fast, but has no heart. Throw the ball to him when he is open, and sure enough, he will catch it. But... stick to him close, and fight for the ball, and you will get it every time. He is a prima-donna receiver who only catches it if open, but won't put up any effort to "go get it".
Slaton is a truck though, and if he is stopped, and Roth/Porter put pressure on either quarterback, their aerial attack will give us turnovers. Make them thow the ball.

Ronnie/Ricky and the Wildcat will mess the Texans up big time!!

Dolphins are hyped and on fire and very confident.

Texans are mentally screwed right now!!!

Dolphins 27
Texans 13

I also think Ronnie Brown will have a huge game. The Texans rushing D is not great by any means and Ronnie has been involved (I think) in the last three losses to the Texans so I am sure he wants a little payback.
