Let's Talk Draft

trade down and pick up D'Brickashaw Ferguson | Virginia. 2RD pick up best RB.

Never seen him play but looks like he would be better suited at Guard.

How is that? You have never seen him play, but you think he would be better suited to play guard?

This guy is the elite left tackle prospect in college football. He's got great athleticism and instincts on the edge, and he has never given up a sack in his career as a left tackle.

Oh dear. You probably would have been better off keeping that thought inside your own head. Ferguson is probably the best LT in college ball at the moment, regardless of class. Guys like him don't come along too often.

Trade down get 2 first this year, or a first this year and a 2nd this year with a 1st next. And pick up Fergurson and somehow get Benson.

I doubt Miami gets Ferguson by trading down. Cleveland will more than likely snatch him up with the third pick.

Aaron Rodgers or Matt Leinhart. If you don't have a franchise QB you don't pass up the opportunity to take one early in the draft. Leinhart won the heismen and will be the QB on a two time National Championship team, if he's available I don't think they should pass him up.

Trade down and pick up the best LT, OG combo.

Marcus McNeil, T (6'9" 350)
Elton Brown, G (6'6" 330)

Getting these two monsters would be an incredible boost to our front.

Then go out and get Ben wilkerson and a DT (with the extra picks you get from trading down from the #2 spot) and you're really talkin.

It all depends on what we do in free agency. If we can fill some needs such as halfback and o-line in free agency our needs will differ on draft day. If we don't then we'll have to look at picking some of those positions.

I agree completely. If they can make some moves in free agency to get a few o-line men the need will decrease dramatically, and they might be able to draft a big name qb( if the 2 good underclassmen come out) or a good rb. Im a sucker for the "franchise" 1st round QB, and think if Rodgers is available we should take him. However the needs are all over the board and id expect the phins to muck up yet another draft and trade the pick down and not get anything in the realm. I am optimistic however that if Saban gets the job and the GM position that he will make some good decisions. Im tired of bad drafting by the phins. :D

Hahaha. IF and IF Ferguson comes out, he will be the #1 OT taken. He is the best LT prospect out there and has the ability to be the next Ogden or Jones.

If you have never seen a guy play, shhhhhh dont say anything.

We wont be able to trade down and take Ferguson...... Cleveland needs an OT also and they will take him if we dont. Maybe trade down and take Barron and pick up a RB with the extra pick would be more like it.
