[h=3]5) Jarvis Landry, receiver[/h] Drafted: 63rd overall in 2014 by the Miami Dolphins.

Why he was available: Landry ran a 4.77-second 40-yard dash on a bad hamstring at the combine, leading him to perhaps be docked more for a lack of speed than he should have.
What he became: The big-handed receiver shook off the pre-draft low spot to record an astounding 288 catches thus far, tying his former LSU teammate Odell Beckham for the most by an NFL player in his first three pro seasons. He's a great route-runner, as well.

What a steal and great player we got!! So grateful how the last 3 drafts have helped/changed our squad!!
PHINS UP FOR LIFE!!!

We need to begin to redeem ourselves in the 2nd round after all the blunders we have had. Landry and howard are a good start

I was a big fan of the pick...At the time, and thought he was a poor man's OJ McDuffie.

I think he's a rich man's OJ McDuffie now. He fights, generally holds onto the ball
when he does and doesn't give up. It's nice to see and to watch a passionate
football player at that position.

I remember that too - the 1995 Divisional Playoff Game in Miami.
The idea of invoking the name of OJ McDuffie is not meant to be an insult. That was my point in mentioning it.
That man was a hell of a football player at his position.

Landry is more offensive minded as is right in this day's football.

Quite rightly so.

OJ was the man. Original "Juice".

Jarvis is carrying the torch now. If I had to pick a player, Jarvis is the face of the franchise.
