Lex Hilliard Video

He doesnt impress me at all he is always getting caught from behind and his line is tremendous. Not really impresses i think Parmalee is a better back

yeah his line is blocking very well most of the time but when the holes close and Lex has nowhere to go, he makes a cut or two and goes for 5-10 yards at least

He makes one cut. Not that it's bad....... He's a plodder. Dayne got to holes quicker. Those holes won't be there in the NFL.

WOW HE IS THE WORST BACK IVE EVER SEEN!! JK he looks good, like ya said not super fast but quick, we will see. He looks very promising regardless.

Always getting caught from behind? Not sure what video you were watching. He was only brought down a few times and it was by either a safety or corner who either had the angle on him or he had to make a move on someone else. Oh, and safeties and corners are typically faster than most backs too. Once I saw him brought down by a LB, but again, he was making moves to get away from a corner and an end and the LB had the angle. I don't know if Parm. is better or not, but I don't think your comment is fair to him based on this video.

He runs a little like Ronnie but with more speed and better vision...

not sure if he will be that good in the NFL or even make the team but it was a good use of a pick because sometimes you find players that can help out your star players like bradshaw from the Giants hes not going to be a star but he helped them out in the playoffs

yeah well it's true that it's not high caliber football we are watching...and it is only a highlight reel... there's obviously reasons he was picked in the 6th round ....

maybe they want him as a Fullback since he has such a good vision... he's told to maul one particular guy in a particular hole but when the line collapse that's when the Fullback and the Tailback must be creative... and let's be honest, Reagan Mauai isn't that guy
he is a 6th oline
Lex can be a 2nd pair of eyes, can be a backup RB, a reliable pass catcher, etc

i wonder what this team has in store for the FB position...

I'm guessing they want a pounder since our greatest asset will be the R&R ... but at some point you need versatility out of your players... you can't attack a defence with only 3 weapons (WR WR RB) ... and sometimes 4 because we might bring in a slot (i don't consider Fasano a weapon, sorry for the believers)
