with ronnie out will we see a lot of lex hilliard? i like this guy he shows a lot of potential. he hasnt been used much so the panthers wont have a very good game plan in stopping him.

he's a power back like Ronnie and Ricky, so our game plan shouldn't change too much, we'll probably see less Wild Cat, we've seen Ricky can run it, but not the same as Ronnie, expect to see more of Pat White, Ricky should have a good game, and Hilliard will run strong

I think we will see less Pat White and a good mix of Hilliard and polite in the running game but thats me.

Ricky is going to have a monster game, especially in the 4th.
The more carries he gets through the course of game the better he gets.

You're right. Throughout the game you will see him get smacked over and over and take a few seconds to get up and then bam he busts a huge run like he did to set up our FG

Replace Ricky's name with Ronnie and you have a good joke here.

Ronnie has always been the back that gets so much better the more carries he gets. Ricky is a bit older now and needs to stay fresh for him to be at his best.

Losing Ronnie is really going to affect this team and all of the Ronnie haters on this board (not really haters, just saying Ricky should be our primary back), you will see how much this offense will miss RB.

I think we will see more Polite before we see Hilliard

I'm sure they're gonna keep running a 2 back system, that way they keep Ricky well rested, the next best back is Hilliard, and his running style isn't much different from what Ricky and Ronnie bring onto the field.

We might see a few carries from Lex, but I disagree about his style. I think its very different from Ricky or Ronnie.

Man Cobbs was that valuable...
The loss of Cobbs was huge. I would venture to say almost as huge as loosing RB himself.

THe man, could Block, Catch and Run. And he was a special teams monster.
#'s will be #'s but I think loosing Cobbs blocking on our WC this year was one of the reasons it wasnt working as well the last couple of games.

Between him and polite the running lanes were usually set for RB or RW.
Chubbs

I thought we would of seen Hilliard come in after Ronnie went down but it never happened. I hope he comes in, if nothing more then to keep Rickey as fresh as possible.

I want to see that Corey Sheets pop in against the Panthers.

Other teams would underestimate him but I guess the same would go for Lex.

yea I wonder who gets first shot at carries, Lex or Sheets. I'm guessing Lex though.

Ricky will be starting with Lex as the backup, dont think sheets will be. Sparano mentioned Lex will be getting the ball today. Let's hope to see 150 or more yards from Ricky!
