I read a story last week about Ricky feeling very depressed following his sensational Thursday night performance. Apparently, he didn't enjoy being back in the spotlight and lamented that he couldn't share the experience with his good friend, Ronnie Brown.

I doubt Lex will be as productive a back-up as Ricky was, but has anyone read any stories or seen anything at practice suggesting that they will try to work him in more? I mean, the three carries he had on Thursday looked very good. I knew he wouldn't have an impact in that game, considering he only had a few days of practice, but now that he has had 10 days to prepare, I think he might have a make a very compelling waiver pick-up. I mean, Ricky will need to take off some snaps, but I'm wondering whether they will work in Lex as more than just the guy that gives Ricky a breather.

Saints win against Pats and we win against the pats and the division is pretty much ours...
 
Hard to say at the moment, but I do expect him to start getting more playing time as the weeks go on. At the moment I think he doesn't have much fantasy value, but he might well do in the next couple of weeks.
 
I like him but not worth the pickup at this point. Its comming to the Fantasy playoffs and wouldnt risk him as a start.
 
i picked him up because i clinched my division and i had cadillac to dump. i had ronnie but i also got deangelo and thomas jones so i thought i would take a chance on lex. if it dont work out i can get get another bench rb at anytime.
 
I picked him up after Ronnie, who was on my team, went down. Sadly, I was tied in first place with another kid who had Ricky Williams so Ronnie's injury basically locked up the regular season for him.

must be nice I have cedric benson and michael turner last week in a big game and they both were hurt ..go figure
